we learned that the real Florentine steak is with fillet, at the trattoria da Carla, mother of the current owner, you eat divinely ... the Florentine steak melted in your mouth, the tagliatelle made strictly by hand with wild boar ragù amazing ... the place is well-kept, the kitchen (always shown to us by the owner ... and it's not for everyone ...) very clean ... compliments to everyone we will definitely return ... obviously recommended for info: it is not open 24 hours a day as erroneously reported on the web 🤣🤣🤣

On a very hot evening we enjoyed the views to the coast from the outdoor terrace. Excellent meat and pasta dishes and the fried zucchini flowers were all excellent. Also a must try are the gelato and sorbetto, both made on the premises!

Friendly staff! Felt very welcome.
Courtyard is breathtakingly beautiful so cozy atmosphere. What is inside the castle. The steak was nice and tender and everything else was also nice. There are more restaurants and shops available.

We had a nice spot on the balcony with a view of the city walls. The food was delicious – Caprese, Coniglio alla ciaccatore (a flavor explosion), spaghetti carbonara, and tiramisu – and the service was very attentive. We would love to try the entire menu here. We highly recommend it.

We had dinner on the terrace with a breathtaking view of the walls... the dishes were well prepared and plentiful... an appetizer of excellent quality cold cuts and cheeses and amazing homemade cacio e pepe pasta...

Noi abbiamo cenato con un gruppo e devo dire che non ho riscontrato le cose negative che ho letto in altre recensioni,servizio discretamente cordiale ,locale storico per Capalbio e sistemato al centro in una splendida piazzetta,il cibo era stato accordato col nostro organizzatore,tagliatelle al cinghiale e arista con patate,ottimi entrambi ,io ho chiesto una variante prendendo la trippa ,buona,al posto dell’arista e me l’hanno concessa senza problemi ,pagando una differenza,prezzo concordato per il gruppo 25€ comprensivo di vino ,macedonia e caffè,direi buonissimo,non giudico la carta per non averla provata ,ma si mangia bene

Troviamo questo posto per caso visto che di domenica è d’inverno Capalbio è quasi deserta, e il ristorante che avevamo trovato (che il sito dava aperto) era chiuso. Davvero una piacevole scoperta! Abbiamo deciso di mangiare fuori, sulla terrazza, perché al sole si stava benissimo. Che dire, servizio molto gentile e disponibile, piatti della tradizione e prezzi forse leggermente alti. Siamo comunque rimasti contenti e soddisfatti!
