Highly recommended. There is only the fish that was just caught. It's very similar with wine, which is what's there at the moment. Everything really tasty. If you don't want mainstream restaurants, HERE is the right place.

Super nice nonna Caponata, sardines, pasta a la Norma and pasta marinara frutti di mare were ordered, all delicious We were even allowed to try Caponata before ordering because we didn't know it Including a bottle of white wine, we paid just under €40, so the price was great!

The most authentic restaurant in Catania, located in the fish market, it doesn't try to grab you like many others but you will find quality at a more than fair price. Friendly waiter

Small restaurant next to the fish market. Which gives ultra fresh products on our plate and an authentic atmosphere. You have to get to know the staff who are working courageously. We had a great time and ate like kings. THANKS Éliane Michael and the Moto Guzzi 😂

Trattoria "spartana" (uso un eufemismo) proprio all'interno della storica pescheria di Catania. Locale piccolo, qualche talovlo immediatamente fuori, mise en place scadente, toilette da non andarci e fuggire altrove e...a parte questo, se siete pronti e preparati, il resto è buono il servizio cortese e i piatti cucinati in maniera tradizionalmente buona e genuina. Il pesce, che lo dico a fare, freschissimo. I prezzi onesti

15/05/2025: I give one more star because the prices are absurdly low, and despite this the quality does not suffer (at least apparently as far as we are concerned). We spent 17 each for chips, coke and wine, two first courses, two second courses, a bitter. Portions are just the right size. You leave full, yes! The guys at the tables are very kind. Maximum wait between one course and the next is 15 minutes. Unique flaws: scooters whizzing by a few centimeters from the sidewalk where you eat, a fight always the order of the day near the betting center opposite.
