Excellent food and fast service. It is a market restaurant and rightly presents itself as such. Sublime warbler sardines!! Low prices and in any case as per the menu... Which is not to be taken for granted in somewhat hyperactive and popular places like the Catania fish market

Everything that we ordered was so beautifully prepared. Even the swordfish which has been tough and dry in other restaurants was tender and moist. Wonderful place for lunch or dinner as long as you enjoy seafood as much as my family does! The food came out super fast and it was all so fresh. The prices are fantastic in comparison to other restaurants nearby.

Best, most tender octopus I ever tried. Fried seafood also great. Very reasonable prices for the freshness of the food. Fast service too, all our food came in less than 20mins!

Following advice, we decided to try this restaurant... It was a great choice😍 Tidy: - beccafico sardines (excellent) x2 - pasta alla norm (excellent) - pasta with sardines (excellent) - mussels and clams soup (good) - cannoli (good) Excellent house white wine from the Etna area! Price: €50 Friendly and fun staff. If you are in Catania, you must stop here. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Homemade restaurant in the market area, with tables outside in the middle of the crowd. Eaten octopus, fried fish, spaghetti with clams and seafood risotto. All very good, with average prices and quick and helpful service. We had a good time...

Ogni anno veniamo qui ed è una garanzia di qualità! Pesce freschissimo antipasti succulenti e primi da leccarsi i baffi: pasta ai ricci o al nero di seppia per non parlare della bottarga o delle vongole. Come antipasti i nostri preferiti sono gamberetti marinati caponata e cozze o polpo o sarde uno meglio dell’altro. Prezzi onestissimi e poi Salvo e Ignazio sono gentilissimi e simpaticissimi. Insomma altamente raccomandato non a caso esiste dal 1814 ! 😉

Questa è la nostra seconda volta qui e anche questa volta è stata una cena che ci ha impressionato in maniera incredibile: piatti di primissima qualità!! Abbiamo preso spaghetti alle sarde e spaghetti alla marinara più un fritto misto di eccellente valore... Ogni piatto ( abbondante) 10€! Acqua grande 2€ Amaro offerto dalla casa dal gentilissimo sig. Ignazio Locale consigliatissimo
