This is a rustic, little restaurant at the fish market. It doesn't pretend to be upmarket, fine dining and it shouldn't. It's a busy, active area amongst the markets. We ordered chargrilled octopus and a fennel salad for entrees. Mains were grilled swordfish and linguine con seppia nera. We enjoyed all of our dishes. I'm a big eater and would always like more on my plate, however I didn't finish my meal feeling hungry. There could have been more seppia in my linguine, the seppia that was there was tender and tasty. The house white wine complemented the meal well and is a cheap option for wine. I had cassata for dessert and we had a round of espresso. We enjoyed our meal and will likely return. The waiter is a busy man, working the tables alone. He is friendly and attentive and manages the patrons well, most of which he knows.

Very good value for money. We ordered pasta with bongole and calmari, which we really liked and we'll have another one the next day. It was pasta with seafood frutti and linguine with black cuttlefish. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced.

The staff is friendly and very welcoming, the food is exceptional, the ingredients are fresh and tasty, the fish is perfect and cooked to perfection, I think it's one of the best places I've ever eaten fish. The prices are fair and the portions are adequate. I've been there twice already because it's so good. Congratulations!

We had two appetizers and two first courses: the linguine was cooked to perfection, with a rich and flavorful sauce. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the quality is top notch. Among the appetizers, we tried the raw shrimp: simply exceptional, incredibly fresh and delicate, they melted in your mouth—I've never tasted anything so good in my life. The staff is very welcoming, and the location is perfect, just steps from the historic fish market, which gives the place an authentic and lively atmosphere.

We came here on a recommendation, even though the reviews aren't that great. And what a surprise we had: we ordered the grilled sardines and octopus as starters. Everything was incredible. We ate the squid ink pasta, INCREDIBLE, and the mussels in tomato broth, DELICIOUS. Don't pay attention to the comments about the waiter; he's a great guy, very, very friendly. I highly recommend this place.

A typical trattoria right in the middle of Catania's fish market. It struck us on first visit and didn't disappoint: delicious, traditional Sicilian dishes, and a friendly, welcoming staff! I'd definitely go back!
