A truly wonderful experience! This trattoria is one of those places that makes you feel right at home: a welcoming atmosphere, a family atmosphere, and an attention to detail that's evident as soon as you enter. The staff is incredibly kind, always smiling and attentive, but a special mention goes to the owner: incredibly kind and helpful, capable of welcoming every guest with genuine warmth and making everyone feel truly welcome. The cuisine is simply exceptional, with authentic flavors and generous portions. Each course showcases tradition, but with a pleasantly surprising twist. Everything was perfect, accompanied by excellent wines expertly recommended. It's one of those places you'll want to return to and recommend without hesitation to friends and family. My compliments to the entire staff; we'll definitely be back!

If you're passing through Manciano, definitely stop at Trattoria Il Rifugio! The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, and you'll immediately feel at home. The risotto is simply amazing, and the pappardelle with wild boar are spectacular, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The cod is delicious. The welcome was top-notch, Ilaria was incredibly kind and attentive. The dessert.....exquisite! A place to definitely return to! 🍷✨

Excellent restaurant with high-quality dishes, but as I've already mentioned about other restaurants in the area, the only flaw is the portions—the food on the plate is too small. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

A sublime experience, a very well-kept, quiet and composed place. Ilaria, the owner, is infinitely sweet and offers excellent service. She pampered us from the beginning to the end of the lunch. Her partner, the restaurant's chef, makes traditional yet revisited cuisine, a cuisine full of love that you can find in his dishes. The raw materials are excellent, with many local products and a good wine list. If you pass through Manciano, you cannot miss a stop.
