Fantastic little restaurant tucked away. Very glad we found this as tourists, it was affordable, authentic, and we got a great taste of Italy! The language barrier with the waiter was amusing, I think I may have tried ordering only the grape by accident rather than a glass of actual wine initially! Excuse us with poor linguistic talent. Highly recommend !

Old Style trattoria that needs a major renovation. I only ate a Milanese risotto but I wasn't thrilled, perhaps I chose the wrong dish? Another thing I didn't like was that the desserts were arranged on a table on the left shortly after the entrance without any protection. I don't have any good memories of it, and I wouldn't go back.

Family atmosphere and delicious cuisine in this typical Italian restaurant. The waiter was alone which made the service a little slow, but the dishes were definitely worth it. Even though the staff only spoke Italian, we managed to understand each other. I will go back without hesitation!

Alla trattoria di Franco (da 40 anni in servizio) si mangia in un ambiente casalingo senza fronzoli ma con una vasta scelta di piatti e la simpatia dei proprietari. La qualità è ottima: sapore, ingredienti, presentazione e cura. Buona la pasta con le vongole, la rana pescatrice e le cozze al sugo di pomodoro. Si può scegliere tra carne, pesce, pasta, risotti, piatti composti e dolci, quest'ultimi da rivalutare un'altra volta. L'unica lacuna deriva dalle dimensioni ridotte e dall'arredamento troppo carico di oggetti. Già dall'entrata con un bancone su cui troneggia una coscia di prosciutto parzialmente affettato ma eccessivamente vicino al passaggio delle persone, al bagno un po' troppo attaccato alla zona cucina. Forse un paio di tavoli in meno basterebbe a risolvere il problema. Conto nella media.

Solid spot. Food is good, but not as flavorful as we would have expected from a Michelin restaurant. Great, small family vibe and feel. Loved the warmth and welcoming owner and staff was reasonable.

The owner knows how to deal with customers, is very hospitable and the fish is OK!!!! It's a beautiful environment, beautiful people and I must say that you feel pampered!!
