The pear and Gorgonzola risotto was delicious. Simple food done well. The owner is very accommodating. Would return. A spot of background music wouldn’t go amiss.

The Best Restaurant I’ve Tried in Milan I’ve had the chance to try some of the more popular and lively restaurants in Milan, but this one truly stands out as the best so far. It may not be flashy or trendy, but it offers something even more special — a truly traditional Milanese experience with simple, comforting, and beautifully executed flavors. The food has that kind of easy, honest taste that makes you feel at home, and it’s clear that they put a lot of care into every dish. I loved it so much, I came back twice during this trip — and I would go again without hesitation. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic food in a warm, unpretentious setting. A hidden gem that deserves more recognition.

We went to the trattoria for lunch after touring the Sforza Castle and part of Sempione Park. We were quite hungry. Upon arrival, we were greeted very warmly. We ordered a Florentine and potatoes. We waited a few minutes, and a large plate of meat and potatoes arrived. The owner prepared the cuts, arranged them, and placed the plate on a hot stone to keep it warm. The meat was perfect, and we enjoyed it very much. I must highlight its homey atmosphere. The place is quaint, without the luxury that characterizes Milan, but it has an extremely pleasant atmosphere that makes you feel at home. To finish, we ordered a tiramisu, which was delicious. Finally, the staff were extremely attentive. Definitely a place worth considering to get away from the hustle and bustle of Milan.

Che spettacolo Voti da 1 a 10: 9.5 per il locale. Semplice, piuttosto elegante, con qualche decennio sulle spalle ma ben tenuto. Atmosfera molto piacevole. 8 per il cibo. Filetto al pepe verde spaziale, patatine grossolanamente buone, mentre il tiramisù non mi ha emozionato. 9 per il servizio. Il (credo) gestore/titolare si è dimostrato veramente un professionista, sa far star bene i suoi clienti. L'unica pecca è che la tovaglia e il menù erano un po' macchiati. Adeguato rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci tornerei? Sì. Lo consiglierei? Sì.
