Good is very good and you have the chance to try pretty unusual seafood recipes. Service is support fast, staff very friendly and kind. Portions are really small though, hence the place is really really expensive (couple of shared starters, one course per person and drinks -no fancy wines- 40 euro per person). Worth a try but not going back.

Enchanting is the right word to describe this place! Excellent food, rich in colors and flavors! Excellent and courteous staff, unique location! Try it and believe it! A trained chef with a great team at her side! Highly recommended.

Il Doria è stata una delle sorprese più piacevoli del nostro soggiorno all’Isola del Giglio. Accoglienza calorosa, servizio attento e una cucina che conquista fin dal primo assaggio. I piatti di pesce sono freschissimi e curati nei minimi dettagli, con sapori autentici e presentazioni eleganti. Abbiamo apprezzato molto anche la carta dei vini, ben selezionata, e l’atmosfera del locale: intima ma raffinata. Un ristorante che unisce qualità, passione e tradizione. Consigliatissimo, ci torneremo sicuramente!

13/09/2025: Incredible. The beach, the pasta, the service, the coffee! Exceptional pasta is a signature of great restaurants.
06/09/2025: The place is lovely, and the surrounding sea is truly beautiful. It's worth returning for the beach. The welcome was minimal, nothing particularly warm, but it was average. We had an average cappuccino (€2) and a breaded cutlet sandwich (€7). Considering that the cutlet was pre-cooked, supermarket-quality, and not freshly prepared, the price seems decidedly excessive, even for August. It's therefore best to bring your own food, or at most, get a coffee—perhaps—for €2.50. Overall, the place is worth it for its natural beauty, but the facilities have a lot of room for improvement and give the impression of being exploited for seasonal prices.
