It was our family’s first time visiting Sicily, and we were eager to experience authentic Sicilian cuisine—and this place did not disappoint. We ordered the fettuccine with clams, a bottle of red wine, and the local specialty, Stocco a’Ghiotta Rosa. Every dish was bursting with flavor—the fettuccine delivered a perfect balance of garlic and seafood richness, while the Stocco was deeply satisfying with its bold tomato base.
The atmosphere captured the charm of a traditional Sicilian trattoria, warm and inviting, with friendly servers who made us feel right at home. The menu is entirely in Italian, so a translation app is helpful, but trust us—the food speaks for itself

A true local gem, with authentic atmosphere and amazing food. The service is so welcoming a warm and the restaurant os cozy on the inside. My dish was Linguini al Vongole and it tasted delicious! Really recommend.

Incredible local restaurant with amazing food and really friendly staff. It hasn't been discovered by tourist yet so the atmosphere is amazing. The macheroni Al Norma and the linguini al vongole were stand outs for us.

Ancient Messina trattoria located at the end of Viale Europa and excellently managed by the owner. The environment is simple and familiar accompanied by joking notes from the dining room staff. Ancient dishes with an authentic flavour. Highly recommended are the fish bellies, a traditional endangered dish that the owner is preserving and offering to his customers. The swordfish chops are sublime as is the greedy stockfish. Prices are modest and aligned with the proposed offer.
Suggestions: I would change the pasta to ghiotta in which there is no trace of fish! (too bad I would have given 5 stars)
Possibility to have dinner because it is only open for lunch…
