We went to this renovated late 17th-century mill, which is truly beautiful... we ate very well, the Lambrusco risotto was exquisite... the service was excellent, and the owners were so kind!!! We'll be back to try the pizza 🍕!!!

Beautiful restaurant and pizzeria on the outer bank of the Po River in Brescello, a town famous for the films of Peppone and Don Camillo. It's best to book to avoid waiting. We had cured meats and fried gnocco, fried fish, reginelle pasta with porcini mushrooms and prosciutto, cappellacci stuffed with mixed meats, and baked ribs with potatoes. Three desserts... all fabulous... a must try.

A very beautiful restaurant built in a former mill. At the entrance, you can see the millstones and equipment. Don Camillo and Peppone are present everywhere. The menu features many homemade products (fresh pasta). The dishes are generous and delicious. Recommended!

Questa trattoria ristorante che si trova a Brescello lungo l’argine del fiume Po porta il nome da uno dei due celebri personaggi ideati da Guareschi, Don Camillo e Peppone, interpretati nei famosi film rispettivamente da Fernandel e da Gino Cervi.Il locale ha uno stile rustico, con mattoni facciavista con numerose fotografie che immortalano scene tratte dai film ambientati proprio a Brescello.Qui potrete assaggiare i piatti della cucina tradizionale reggiana come ad esempio tortelli verdi o di zucca, gnocco fritto accompagnato da salumi emiliani e diversi secondi.Se invece siete amanti della pizza, vi consiglio di provarla: è veramente buona!
