Rich, seasonal menu, fresh ingredients, and overall delicious, hearty dishes. (Pictured: mixed antipasto and artichoke and bacon tagliatelle.) The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, with friendly service. The terrace is charming, but will be open in the warmer months.

A warm and welcoming trattoria by name, but in reality, the dishes are very refined and beautifully plated. The food is truly excellent; you can taste the quality of the ingredients, with unique combinations that make you want to try everything. A little place that, once you've discovered it, is hard to forget. Highly recommended.

Very pleasant family friendly and warm, very old fashioned but with a well structured menu, with local specialties and researched flavors. The portions made you enjoy the whole meal without bloating, the wine list was very fine and the touches very personal on both food and place. The service was experienced and very pleasant. There’s is a children playground just by the church to stretch the legs afterwards. Totally recommend.

We discovered it by chance for a quick lunch and had a great time! The first courses are fabulous; I recommend the gnocchi with goat's cheese and the desserts!

In this charming and cozy trattoria, the cooking is exquisite in every respect, and Sophie and her team immediately make you feel like friends. Word has spread, and since the prices are also very fair, it's better to make a reservation. It's completely unbelievable that some people do just that and then don't show up without canceling, meaning other guests have to be turned away even though tables remain empty. This gem of a restaurant is far too good for such ignorant people. But thank you, Sophie! Coda di Manzo, braised to a delicate consistency, isn't something you get every day. The fish from the lake is not to be missed. We've never had better tagliatelle. And the desserts all seem to be delivered straight from heaven. You put in so much effort and give your guests evenings to remember! Grazie!

19/11/2025: We spent one night nearby in Menaggio. The hotel recommended this restaurant to us. We were also allowed to use the shuttle service (pick-up and drop-off to/from the hotel) free of charge. So we treated ourselves to two fantastic, different set menus, including drinks. It was a feast! There's nothing more to say – simply delicious. Right at the beginning, even before ordering, we were served fresh, warm bread straight from the oven. After dessert, we were presented with a whole bottle each of Thymicello and the house Amaro! We could drink as much as we wanted – free of charge. Seriously – where else do you find that? It's incredible. And yes, you can't drink the whole bottle – obviously, but that's not the point. The gesture and the trust shown are amazing! The service was also very friendly, efficient, and attentive, just like in a Michelin-starred restaurant! It couldn't have been better, and it didn't need to be. A definite recommendation.
