Per caso ci siamo trovati in questo ristorante e ci siamo sentiti un po' a disagio perché è un ristorante lussuoso mentre noi eravamo vestiti da viaggio. A parte questo, punteggio 4 perché ottimo cibo, ben curato e servizio di tutto punto (Quasi fin troppo per noi abituati alla trattoria).
Consiglio questo ristorante per occasioni speciali o comunque non in jeans e felpa!

Sono stata al ristorante a novembre, accoglienza impeccabile, gentili e disponibili. Ho mangiato divinamente, piatti deliziosi e ben presentati. La carta del vino ampia con etichette ricercate e di ottima qualità. Complimenti, ci rivedremo

The fireplace and ancient stoves make the rooms, tastefully furnished which recall the Piedmontese tradition, warm and welcoming.
Don't be fooled by the name: it is a real restaurant (not a "simple" trattoria) but the name takes up that of the old restaurant that was once open in the center of Monforte.
Impeccable service, every waitress was courteous, kind, generous with advice.
Possibility to choose à la carte or the tasting menu (75 euros) with 2 starters, first course, second course and dessert, as long as the whole table chooses the same dishes.
Pay attention to the price which is a little higher than the average for the same area.
You certainly make an excellent impression on your guests.

Very well-kept ambience, friendly staff, who you also have to "shake awake" from time to time, a Somalian who understands and loves his job with heart and soul, a cuisine that also knows a change from the Piedmontese monotony, a wine list that feels like 3 kg awaits you In order to peel the slalom out of very good but reasonable prices, the majority of Barolos are much too expensive.

Everything exceptional!! From the stuffed onion to the agnolotti del plin, the raw meat, the dessert, the bread, it was an idyll from start to finish!
I thank the very kind lady who served us who advised me on what to have since I can't eat some foods at the moment, she was super thoughtful. We hope to return soon!
