Very welcoming and traditional atmosphere. Helpful, attentive, and fast staff. The menu features several traditional local classics, along with some originals (e.g., black pork platter, wild spinach tortelli, etc.). Highly recommended!

Perfect lunch, welcoming atmosphere, simple but substantial, dishes from our hilly tradition made with zero-mile raw materials produced by small breeders, meat that melts in the mouth, simple, well-balanced desserts, you wake up satisfied but not weighed down, congratulations Annarita, keep it up

A visit to the prosciutto museum, just a stone's throw away. We ordered two platters: one classic and one made with black Parma ham. Everything was excellent, especially the cicciolata, which is rare, the black salami, and the black pancetta, which melts beautifully. The Parma ham from a top producer was excellent. The owner was very kind and even pointed us to a local dairy where we purchased excellent parmesan. It's worth returning to try the rest of the menu.

Discovered by chance wanting to have lunch just outside Parma. Excellent welcome, characteristic environment, lots of space, convenient free parking 30 meters away and average prices. Excellent raw materials. It was a nice discovery.

Una splendida scoperta. Eravamo di passaggio per la visita ad una mostra a Mamiano di Traversetolo. Siamo venuti in questo locale attirati dal menu e dal nome. Trattoria della gallina . Il nome evoca ricette semplici ed autentiche del luogo. Ottimo tutto . E’ possibile anche acquistare alcuni salumi . Abbiamo assaggiato ed acquistato la “ cicciolata” . Il dolce amore poi e’ una delizia per il palato ed e’ una vera coccola. Apprezzata anche la Malvasia consigliata. Personale cortese ed attento al cliente , al quale trasmette la passione del propio lavoro .Brave! Lo consiglio . Ci torneremo con amici e figlie
