A historic Parma trattoria, located just outside the city but easy to get to. There are plenty of parking spaces, so parking isn't a problem. It's always best to reserve a table; the place is quite large, but it's always crowded, and you might not always find a table. We had a mixed cured meats as an appetizer, served with fried polenta. The fried polenta was very good, light, not too greasy, and plentiful. I had the anolini, which were served in a soup tureen. They were really good. Other friends had the tortelli, and osso buco with peas, all very good. We ordered some local Lambrusco for drinks, but I don't remember the name of the bottle. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff friendly and attentive.

Typical local cuisine, excellent dishes, and professional, friendly, and even patient service, given that there were eight of us, quite noisy, and in the company of a friend who is rather "rough" about food (also due to some food intolerances of hers) who never fails to point out in public if something is wrong... we still had a great time, good value for money.

A typical family-run trattoria. A timeless atmosphere and traditional dishes. They don't serve torta fritta, but fried polenta.
It's become a regular stop when we take out-of-towners out to eat. Excellent ingredients and consistently good, plentiful dishes. Fair prices.

Excellent, wonderfully delicious.
I hosted a dinner for 30 people. Everyone was delighted and pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the food. Everything was handmade by the wonderful chef Paola. Delicious tortelli, not to mention the tagliatelle, and the Mariola sauce melted in your mouth. To finish, a selection of desserts was served, all accompanied by an excellent wine. Highly recommended. Everything is handmade.

Romeo's is a sure thing!! Everything is delicious!! I'd call it a restaurant rather than a trattoria... but the name trattoria is actually much better!! Highly recommended!!
