Beautiful atmosphere... Fantastic staff... Delicious food

I asked a glass shop employee on Murano Island for a recommendation for a good restaurant to dine at, and he recommended this one. The waiter, who has been serving for a long time, probably for two generations, explained everything in detail and kindly, which helped me choose the right dish. The plating and the taste were both very satisfying, as was the recommended Venetian wine. The water glass, which resembled Murano glasswork, was also very beautiful.

I did some research and decided to have lunch at this place during our visit to Burano. I would say overall experience is average and didn't meet my expectation. Mussels are definitely not fresh as we found at least 30% of them taste with strong fishy smell. Besides, waiter was not professional. We ordered grilled seafood and grilled sole fish. Before that, I asked waiter if there's sole fish in grilled seafood as I didn't want to order the same fish twice. He confirmed there won't be any sole fish in grilled seafood. Guess what, viola! As they served food we found sole fish in seafood platter again! And 50% of the plate was covered by sole fish. That's so disappointed.

Today I went to Romano's for the first time, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly kind, always smiling, and ready to listen to your every need. The owners are wonderful people, attentive to every detail. As for the food, it was incredibly fresh and excellent quality, from the scampi (beautifully plated and incredibly tasty, not just scampi sitting on ice) to the abundant appetizers, featuring a variety of specialties. Finally, the perfectly cooked and creamy rice was absolutely a must-try. Overall, an absolutely positive experience, definitely worth a try!

The service was amazing, wine was amazing, food was amazing and so fresh. Can't say enough positive things about this treasure!

Utterly charming restaurant. Faithful to old school service but still relaxed and friendly. Famous for their risotto di go (which is amazing- they toss the risotto in the air to make it). Worth the trip to Burano alone.

Great risotto, but at Venetian prices.

Un indizio è un indizio, due indizi sono una coincidenza...a quando il terzo indizio? Eravamo stati in questo ristorante esattamente due anni fa, stesso periodo. Incredibile ma vero...il tavolo prenotato è lo stesso!!! Pranzo in famiglia, con due bambini piccoli...per la prima volta proviamo il risotto con i go... eccezionale e cotto alla perfezione. Anguilla alla brace buonissima, così come lo spaghetto alle vongole, saporito e al dente. Il prezzo, considerato anche che siamo a Burano, è più che adeguato per servizio e qualità dei piatti. Ancora una volta la nota più piacevole è il personale: gentile, premuroso ma non ingessato, preparato e piacevole nel descrivere o consigliare i piatti... simpaticissimo con i bambini. Non cambiate mai! (soprattutto gli addetti alla sala)

We had seen this restaurant on one of the travel shows and stopped in for lunch while in Burano. Food is authentic and freshly made - at least for the risottos. We ordered their house risotto and it was very good, though not plentiful for the price. We were told in advance it would take at least 25 minutes so we were advised to order starters - we declined and felt it was just a way to get us to order more food that we really didn't want for lunch. All in all food was good, but restaurant caters to tourists and we usually try to avoid tourist traps and try to follow the locals.
