Had a great meal, very fresh fish

Visited for lunch. We sat outdoors and ordered some cocktails and grilled fish for lunch. The food was great and the dessert just perfect. The service and the team made the experience even better. Thank you Alessandro & nice to meet Bruno. Highly recommended

Tasty food but too pricey Clams not washed clean enough, too much sand in them But sour sardine and risotto pretty tasty and special

If you are in Burano do not hesitate to eat at this restaurant, the food is delicious. Great attention. Highly recommended

Unexpectedly, I need to find a restaurant for lunch in Burano. Da Romano is notable on Google Map, so I decided to go. A gentle old man welcome my family. Most of servers are gentle old men, and it seems they have been here for a long time. Looks great and I can feel their history and philosophy. All foods are good. Especially, Risotto Romano is awesome 👍 (the gentle man explained one of fish cannot be caught at this season, so it is replaced. Risotto is minimum order 2 portion). Squid ink spaghetti and seafood linguine are so nice. Pomodoro spaghetti help to meet a balance of vegetable. House wines are also better than average. White wine is more impressive. If you visit Burano, Da Romano can be a good choice.

A good restaurant, a little expensive in a very touristy street

Ci siamo fermati per un pranzo. Possibilità di pranzare all'aperto sulla piazza o nella sala interna. Risotto al nero di seppia buono. Purtroppo nel nostro caso il servizio è stato veramente lungo. Da migliorare il servizio ai tavoli.

Wandering around Burano and it was a lovely day so we thought we’d have lunch sat outside in the sun. The waiter asked ‘inside or outside’ and we said outside. There was a table for three laid up in the sun so we asked if we could sit there. Apparently not as we were only two people and there were three tables for two in the shade so we were directed to one of them. Just as we sat down another couple asked to sit at the table for three and were given it - despite two shaded tables still being free. There was plenty of choice on the menu - I had Bresaola, rocket and Parmesan and my husband had a seafood linguine. Food was delivered quickly and was tasty. Waiter was a bit grumpy throughout our visit and everything seemed to be too much trouble for him which made us feel a bit uncomfortable asking for anything. Inside is really large and the decor is lovely. Lots of old photographs on the walls. Plenty of staff milling about too.
