Trattoria da Pina In Lipari

We had a beautiful evening at this small, tucked away seafood restaurant at the tip of Vulcano Island. This is a charming, small family- run restaurant, serving the freshest seafood and local ingredients. We had a sampling of local antipasto, homemade pasta cooked perfectly, and a whole fish, caught that morning from local waters, cooked whole in salt and served beautifully de- boned! The cannoli and tiramisu for dessert were also homemade and the best we have tasted, along with local amaro dessert wine. The service was excellent and the two sons who served dinner were so helpful with wine and meal suggestions. We had a very relaxed, but not overly long pace for dinner. We highly recommend this special restaurant for a romantic evening, sharing with friends, and savoring local food prepared by a family who clearly loves what they do! Reservations needed as the space is small and it fills fast!
