A very characteristic trattoria located in the historic center of Monterosso al Mare. Limited seating creates a uniquely intimate atmosphere during lunch/dinner. The owners are the waiters, and they oversee the entire operation. Excellent dishes, many featuring anchovies, are served in both appetizers and first courses. The desserts (pannacotta and tiramisu) are delicious. Kudos to the attention to detail in the decor and the choice of Richard Ginori dinnerware, which are fantastic. Reservations recommended. Congratulations indeed!

Great food experience. Each dish was fresh and delicious. The staff was attentive and helpful in our ordering. Not pictured was a third dish of calms and pasta in white sauce. Great place to eat and spend the evening.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this small restaurant specializing in seafood. The quality of the fish is truly exceptional: fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great care. Each course showcases the quality of the ingredients. The only negative was the staff, who were a bit hasty. Although service was prompt, I felt a certain rush in taking orders and serving the dishes, which slightly detracted from the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant.

Excellent, top-quality ingredients. Spaghetti with clams and octopus with potatoes, water, and a glass of wine cost €50. The octopus was beautifully cleaned and tender. The Felicetti spaghetti was truly excellent. Service was prompt and without any frills. Very good, and the price was in line.

Excelente comida tradicional italiana. Una sorpresa muy agradable. Gracias por entregar tales alimentos a un precio razonable. La calidad fue mucho mejor en comparación con mis pocas experiencias anteriores en la misma área. Este restaurante merece su atención. -Sin duda.

Ristorante La Goletta Beach

23/08/2025: We stayed there for 3 days in daily accommodation, cost 20.00 euros for 1 umbrella and 2 sunbeds and 5 euros for parking, very nice establishment, clean and well kept, nice and friendly staff, possibility of using food at the bar, or even restaurant, beach of white sand mixed with pebbles.
18/08/2025: La Goletta is one of those places where you enter a little curious and leave already wondering when you'll return. 😎 The staff is a force to be reckoned with: always smiling, helpful, and ready to answer any questions (even the most embarrassing ones, like "how do I open the umbrella?"). One of the things that struck me most was the space: between one umbrella and the next, there's almost a beach volleyball court! No elbowing your neighbor when you get up from your lounger, no acrobatic dives to reach your bag... finally, you can breathe. The showers? True, you have to pay for them... but boy, do they work like a charm! A strong jet, perfect temperature, they make you feel like you're in a commercial (except instead of the tanned model, it's you trying not to get your hair wet 😅). Overall, the atmosphere is relaxed, tidy, and very welcoming: a simple yet well-kept place, where you can enjoy the sea without stress and with all the comforts in the right place. In short, if you're looking for a beach where you can be comfortable, relax, and feel pampered... La Goletta is just the place for you!

17/10/2025: We didn't stay overnight, we just went for dinner and the food was truly excellent.
05/10/2025: A very charming B&B set high in the mountains overlooking Levanto in the distance - the rooms are spacious and decorated simply, but comfortably. Mine had a day bed with views over the mountains towards Monterosso. The two ladies on reception were friendly and helpful and helped to steer us in the right direction when plans went awry due to the weather. The restaurant was reasonably solid - the pasta dishes were the standouts - the service inconsistent. Reaching breakfast at 10.03 am I was told that the chef had left so nothing could be done. After a bit of coaxing I managed to get a dry cake and a coffee. (Also there is no chef in the morning I later discovered ...) Relying on taxis is a pain - while the prices are ostensibly fixed, that is not the case. 'Speedy' - who seemingly lives up to his name by his driving and perhaps for other reasons - charged EUR20 over the odds per trip. So expect to pay circa EUR80 per day for two 15 minute trips. Great spot - but best to have your own transport and I'd suggest eating out, particularly if the breakfast is not included.
