Historic restaurant, featured in the Michelin Guide several times.
The open kitchen and well-stocked fish counter. The raw fish are nothing special, but I'm originally from Bari and am used to much higher standards. Various types of shrimp, the usual tartare. The raw cuttlefish needs a complete overhaul, and the red mullet fillet is tasteless... Very fresh oysters... The Trabaccolara (house specialty) is excellent. Delicious desserts.

We weren't well received despite our reservation. The wine selection is varied and of good quality. The food menu is overpriced for the quality. Unfortunately, I felt sick after the meal... we were disappointed with the price (€160 for 2, without coffee or dessert, with a bottle of wine for €25).
The reputation of this restaurant doesn't match what we experienced.

Not as good as some time ago, quality/price ratio no longer adequate, fish all'isolana 90€ per kg normal, the first courses are decent, for 2 people 190€ with two first courses and a secret bottle fish from Tenuta Mariani, a dessert

We ate two first courses, a baked turbot with potatoes and vegetables and two desserts. Total 180 euros.
The first courses were good, especially the tagliolini with shrimp and truffle. The macaroni with deep-sea fish ragù was also excellent.
The turbot was honestly anonymous, not worth the 90 euros per kg they charge.
The desserts were low-quality: the Portuguese milk tasted burnt, the lobsters were anonymous.
The table service was high-quality.
The accommodation could be improved since despite having booked 20 days in advance, they reserved a table for us in a corner with no visibility and with the air conditioning turned on. I think they could offer much more considering the prices.
