As a family we wanted to try this restaurant We were pleasantly surprised by the very welcoming and clean room The staff was very knowledgeable and above all kind Talking about the food, there were zero expectations, we ate a starter of cured meats with fried pie and cured meats with samples of really excellent cheeses (congratulations for the cured meats and the choice of the cake in small pieces because it was very pleasant and not very greasy) the first courses were tortelli of abundant grass and with a very soft and pleasant filling on the palate cappelletti in broth and tagliatelle with sausage ragout which were truly excellent, the only slightly negative note was the cappelletti broth which had a weak taste and I would have given the sauce (which in my opinion) a few more minutes of cooking Moving on to the second course, something unimaginable, truly excellent, veal tip, ossobucco and duck, I would like to say that there was something wrong but the empty plates spoke for themselves In short, THANK YOU to the Da Franco restaurant for the experience it gave us

L’ambiente, semplice ma curato, crea subito una sensazione di calore, come se si fosse a casa. Il personale è attento e cordiale, sempre pronto a suggerire il meglio del menù con un sorriso sincero. Ogni piatto racconta una storia di passione per la cucina tradizionale, preparato con ingredienti freschi e di alta qualità. Trattoria senza troppi fronzoli, semplice e accogliente, leggermente fuori mano, nei pressi delle Fiere di Parma. Torta fritta squisita e leggera, salumi buonissimi e di ottima qualità. Primi e secondi deliziosi e tipici della cucina parmigiana, cucinati davvero bene. Nel complesso un'ottima esperienza. Un'unica pecca, il servizio un pochino lento, ma se siete in buona compagnia il tempo passa😊😊😉.

We recently stayed and the place is very welcoming and pito. Franco and his family are very friendly and they offered us a delicious liqueur made with wild berries from the area. The menu is excellent. To be recommended!
