We stumbled upon this unpretentious trattoria by chance. The exterior of the building may seem a bit dated and a bit neglected. Inside, however, there's an air of tradition and authenticity. Clean and well-maintained in its simplicity, staying true to tradition. The cuisine is simple, the selections limited, but high-quality and authentic. I believe it's family-run, and the staff is friendly and quick with their service. The small dining room and informal atmosphere encourage conviviality, even among neighboring tables. Excellent value. We'll definitely be back.

Authentic restaurant, perfect for a lunch break while strolling along the street. Local produce and homemade cuisine at affordable prices, and super helpful staff, both young and old. I highly recommend it for a true family-run dining experience.

Small trattoria serving traditional Piedmontese cuisine. Excellent cured meats. We ordered a mixed house appetizer, two first courses, a dessert, water, and wine for €42. Reasonable prices for the quality, but fair for the area. The atmosphere is not very large and airy. Fast and courteous service. RECOMMENDED.

We discovered this treasure trove of time almost by accident, and from now on it will become an addiction. The quality of the ingredients, the deliciousness of the preparation, the kindness, professionalism, and cheerfulness of the staff, and last but not least, the value for money, are something I believe unique these days. A setting that takes you back to the 1960s, a village of rural houses nestled in the rice fields of Carisio. The little entrance door with the sign "trattoria" above it is a spectacular gem. We stopped in for a business lunch, unfamiliar with the place, but the prices immediately surprised us. We ordered a mix of cold cuts, truffle-wrapped round, spicy tomini, and smoked mangia smoky with cheese shavings. Then a half-portion of fried frogs and a portion of agnolotti with butter and sage. Generous portions, the good quality. The selection of homemade desserts also made us crave it! They also offer freshly made zabaglione and caramelized peaches with amaretti biscuits. Perhaps it's because of my enthusiasm that I'm giving it 5 stars, because 4.5 isn't really a good thing. I'd go back right away to try the rest of the dishes.

We discovered Trattoria Cuore d'Oro thanks to the recommendation of the owner of the B&B where we were staying. A simple restaurant, like those of times gone by, nestled in the countryside. This simplicity allowed us to rediscover the authentic flavors and aromas of traditional cuisine. The panissa was truly excellent, prepared with care and respect for tradition.
