Trattoria Corrieri In Parma

Lived up to expectations! I always enjoy going there. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended! They usually serve food quickly, but the last time I was there, it was a little slower... but I preferred it that way to enjoy the evening more. The location still has that 1950s trattoria feel... wonderful! Everything is clean and welcoming, the staff is professional, polite, and kind.

Reservations are required. Over the weekend, we saw people complaining because there was no room. We also learned that they're almost constantly busy, with people having lunch from 3:00 PM onward. Food: very good, generous portions. Don't listen to the waitress who suggests double portions. The standard portion is more than enough. Service: fast and attentive. Value for money: we're in the city center, and the quality is excellent, as is the price. Among the best places we've had lunch in Parma. Recommended!

Everything was delicious, the ingredients were excellent. If you want to eat traditional food, this is the right choice. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Dimitri served and pampered us.

This trattoria-style restaurant offers fast service despite the busy restaurant. Reservations are required; without one, it's difficult to find a table, especially on weekends.

We had lunch at Trattoria Corrieri on a Sunday in March. There were four of us: the welcome was exceptional. Despite there being a bit of a line, we managed to get lunch thanks to a reservation made the same day. The staff was very friendly and the food was truly excellent. The only small flaw was the wait for the first course, which arrived a bit longer than the appetizer. The prices are fair and fully in line with the quality of the dishes. Perhaps the only thing I would improve is the lighting, which is a bit too dim in some areas. We will definitely be back and will recommend it to anyone looking for a place to eat traditional cuisine. P.S.: Torta Fritta is delicious and incredibly light! 😋

An experience to be had in a typical Parma setting, serving traditional dishes. We started with some appetizers that left us speechless, accompanied by a Gutturnio superiore that paired perfectly. The first courses were simply stunning, each one better than the last; I couldn't say which I liked best. Special mention must be made of the quality of the local ingredients, namely Parma ham, culatello, and Parmigiano Reggiano, which, when eaten in their DOC production area, seem even better than they normally are. At Trattoria dei Corrieri, I assure you, they are divine. The trattoria is large, spread over several floors, all furnished in the style of a typical informal trattoria. You are greeted at the entrance by a very kind gentleman, and the service is provided by a very young but not understaffed staff. The waiter (I don't want anyone to know who he or she was) who served us seemed like he or she was doing us a favor, but it definitely wasn't his or her day. However, his or her friendliness aside, the service was impeccable, so I gave it 5 stars as well. Given the excellent quality of the appetizers, ingredients, and first courses (unfortunately, we didn't get to order the second courses), the desserts were certainly good and plentiful, but not as good as the rest of the food. A place you should eat at least once in your life.

Wow... top experience... location rating: 9 (beautiful restaurant in Parma's historic center, decorated like an old-fashioned trattoria, with plenty of historic Parmesan references, prosciutto hanging everywhere); menu rating: 10 (a top-quality culinary experience); service rating: 9.5 (even though I hadn't booked, they found me a seat right away; the waiter explained all the dishes; and the Parmigiano-Reggiano, a must-have in local cuisine, is served separately in a bowl, allowing those like me who don't like it to miss it); bill rating: 8.5 (perfect and in line with the product offered). I'll be back, and that's no threat.

If I didn't live so far away I would gladly go back.
