We spent an entire evening there, drinking, laughing and eating food that was so good, that it became our scale to compare other meals in Sicily to it :). The fish, the meats, the salads, the pasta, everything! The staff didn’t speak much English but our Italian was enough to communicate. But when it was too difficult to explain what a meal is, the waiter just told us to wait, went to the kitchen and came back a few minutes later with a plate of meats and other ingredients and showed us which is which, while being so nice and funny, that we wanted to try everything 😂. We did have to wait quite a bit for everything and they did forget a few things (brought them later when we asked) but they had a few big groups and were taking care of everyone so it was understandable. They also did it in such a nice and friendly way that we didn’t mind. Every group spent their entire evening there so it’s not just your typical touristy order-eat-leave in an hour. You go there to spend the evening and trust me, you won’t be disappointed. You will have a great time and eat one of the best meals in your life 👌

When I arrived I thought the restaurant was a bit old-fashioned and I was suspicious, but I quickly changed my mind. The service is great and the food is delicious, the seafood is very fresh, the shellfish is delicious! It was worth getting away from the tourist restaurants.

I had the pleasure of eating lunch with my family (18/05/2025) in this delicious restaurant, a beautiful menu of very fresh and high quality fish, cooked by expert hands full of love for cooking. We were welcomed from the first moment by the professional and kind staff who were able to guide us in our choice and accommodated all our needs, from the high chair to my father's food allergies. What can I say, congratulations! I will return a thousand more times! ❤️

Excellent food cooked to perfection, generous portions, friendly waiters and it is possible to talk away what is left to avoid waste, I recommend it

I had lunch a couple of Sundays ago, with my family, on the occasion of a special event! Welcoming atmosphere, attentive and professional service. We chose the fish menu, with delicious and tasty appetizers, excellent first courses, scialatelle with seafood with almonds, panzerotti with grouper ragù and a second course, a mixed fish fry, accompanied by a delicate wine recommended by the professionalism of the sommelier. Experience to try again. We highly recommend it!

Fin da subito ho capito che questo ristorante aveva qualcosa in più, già dall’accoglienza si percepisce un calore differente rispetto ad altri ristoranti. Abbiamo mangiato DIVINAMENTE. Professionalità e gentilezza estrema da parte di tutto lo staff. Grazie Silvia per averci viziate, ci siamo sentite come a casa. Catania ruffiana è diventato il nostro posticino del cuore🤍 A presto!
