Sunday lunch is a very nice and welcoming place, with professional service and excellent and plentiful dishes. Dalla Vanna is always a guarantee of quality and kindness, and we will return often.

Friendly service and good food. We made a reservation this morning for lunch for eight people, and it was a breeze. The staff were very kind and attentive. The tagliatelle with mushrooms, which wasn't on the menu, and the fried mushrooms as an appetizer were excellent. The prosciutto crudo, perhaps because I had high expectations, was accompanied by an excellent torta fritta. The atmosphere is simple, clean, and elegant.

Lunch for workers, choice of three non-trivial first courses. Ditto for the second courses. I chose the cotechino with mashed potatoes and I have to say I really liked it: fine grain, just the right balance of fat, meat, and salt. Above all, it "sticky," and anyone who knows what I mean 😋 .

Complimenti per la cucina in generale speciale l’Antipasto di prosciutto crudo sant Ilario, l’ho trovato veramente eccellente un tripudio di sapore e di equilibrio che solo con la stagionatura 30 mesi e la qualità della carne che si può ancora oggi arrivare a certi livelli di bontà e soddisfare i sensi di chi ha la fortuna di assaggiarlo, oserei dire addirittura un prosciutto da brividi!! Fantastico!! Grazie all’oste Paolo che lo acquista e soprattutto grazie hai fratelli Raffaele e Stefano Montali che lo producono. Top!

A la Maison

02/12/2025: We had a wonderful time at La Maison restaurant in Fornovo. We opted directly for first and second courses (we'll definitely return to try the classic torta fritta and cured meats). Among the first courses, the pigeon bomb was noteworthy, along with delicious pumpkin ravioli in a cream of parmesan and balsamic vinegar. A small flaw, in my opinion, was the prolonged cooking of the classic pink gnocchetti with Castelmagno and truffle, but the flavor of the dish was truly delightful. For second courses, a perfectly prepared boiled meat with an excellent mustard and four types of sauces. The baked duck with potatoes is definitely worth trying.
28/11/2025: I tried to go to this excellent restaurant but often found it closed but it is very good.. always check the opening days and book

15/11/2025: Delicious ice cream (the pistachio was amazing!) and a wonderfully thick, sweet hot chocolate. It's a lovely establishment, and there's also a few seats inside. Nice!
