We went on August 15th, and the food here is truly top-notch. Salami and torta fritta. Truffle timbale—a "DREAM." Pumpkin gnocchi with gorgonzola. Well done, well done 👏👏👏

A wonderful experience at Cascinapiano: the tortelli are so good, you can tell they're family recipes passed down through the generations... The kind of dishes where you can't quite figure out the original recipe because you're guessing the measurements. Delicious guinea fowl and tortelli (lettuce, pumpkin, and potatoes)... just like my grandmother used to make, if not better... (sorry, grandma). Recommendation: potato tortelli with porcini mushrooms, guinea fowl, ossobuco, and for dessert, zuppa inglese or sorbet. It's also worth mentioning that they always serve something to munch on at the table (at no extra charge): bread, torta fritta, or even pieces of meringue tart with dessert. Highly appreciated. For cat lovers, the restaurant is home to five cats who live just two meters away and quickly move between the tables, some shy, some less so (the cats never disturb the meal; they're very well-behaved).

The restaurant has a beautiful, well-ventilated terrace (perfect for warm summer evenings) located on the first floor of a building. The only flaw is that it's poorly signposted; there are no signs or markings. However, there is ample parking. The service wasn't very thorough, although the waitresses were very friendly. The ingredients were excellent; perhaps the zucchini blossom appetizer was a bit too salty. The charcuterie board was excellent, along with a magnificent torta fritta.

Complimenti per la cucina in generale speciale l’Antipasto di prosciutto crudo sant Ilario, l’ho trovato veramente eccellente un tripudio di sapore e di equilibrio che solo con la stagionatura 30 mesi e la qualità della carne che si può ancora oggi arrivare a certi livelli di bontà e soddisfare i sensi di chi ha la fortuna di assaggiarlo, oserei dire addirittura un prosciutto da brividi!! Fantastico!! Grazie all’oste Paolo che lo acquista e soprattutto grazie hai fratelli Raffaele e Stefano Montali che lo producono. Top!

I piatti sono realizzati con ingredienti di alta qualità, ben presentati e ricchi di sapore. Si percepisce chiaramente la cura e la passione che vengono dedicate alla scelta delle materie prime e alla preparazione di ogni portata. Un’esperienza gastronomica che soddisfa sia il palato che l’atmosfera complessiva del locale.
