Close to the highway toll booth, a great stop on a long journey like ours. Excellent traditional dishes; the cured meats and torta fritta are highly recommended, and the desserts are also a hit. We really enjoyed our meal!

The food is good, but not so good that you'll want to return. The service is inattentive and evasive, sometimes dismissive of certain requests and requests. Prices for some dishes need reconsidering: €16 for half a cardoon with egg and grated black truffle is not fair.

Traditional dishes, seemingly simple in preparation: the flavor is complex and well-balanced, leaving the palate satisfied and happy. The 50-month-aged prosciutto, strictly with its own fat, is exceptional. I'll be back as soon as I can to enjoy this experience again.

We had a wonderful time at La Maison restaurant in Fornovo. We opted directly for first and second courses (we'll definitely return to try the classic torta fritta and cured meats). Among the first courses, the pigeon bomb was noteworthy, along with delicious pumpkin ravioli in a cream of parmesan and balsamic vinegar. A small flaw, in my opinion, was the prolonged cooking of the classic pink gnocchetti with Castelmagno and truffle, but the flavor of the dish was truly delightful. For second courses, a perfectly prepared boiled meat with an excellent mustard and four types of sauces. The baked duck with potatoes is definitely worth trying.

02/05/2026: I'll start by saying that I'm neither vegetarian nor vegan, but I went to this wonderful restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. Antonella guided us through the menu, enthusiastically explaining the care and passion with which the dishes and ingredients have been prepared for 30 years. Because it's a seasonal menu, the dishes offered change every month... the May menu is a riot of colors and flavors!

02/05/2026: An excellent experience of taste and care, everything excellent and just the right quantities, cured meats, ham, salami, fried dumplings, perfect and dry, tortelli with herbs, gnocchi with gorgonzola and very delicate walnuts, sublime zuppa inglese, a third cube was missing and it was the perfect dose... very good: service ok, the senior owner feels the experience: leaving from Chiavari, recommended by IA Gemini, I confirm the choice!!!!
