I used to visit 23 Risotti often in the '90s and early 2000s, and recently returned for my mum's 70th birthday lunch - it was just as exceptional as I remembered! The risottos are beautifully balanced and full of depth, each one a reminder of why this place has stood the test of time. Roberto, the chef and owner, is as warm and gracious as ever, his professionalism and passion shine through in every detail. A true Milanese treasure.

Small but nice place. Very kind and helpful staff. Meatballs with beans very good, we tried a saffron risotto with sausage, good but not wow, same thing for the Milanese cutlet.

Excellent service and perhaps the best risotto we have ever had! We each had a starter and the risotto. The staff also spoke good English, which helps if you don't speak Italian. It's not very noticeable, but this restaurant is open (don't forget to ring the doorbell). We even got a recipe book, but unfortunately we left it behind. I will send an email about this :) Tips: maybe use appropriate music for the ambience and dim the lights a little so that the nice lamps on the tables can do their job better.

My wife and I found this little gem of a restaurant on our one night stay in Milan, and this place made the stay even more special for us. From the time we entered without a reservation, they aimed to make sure we had a great experience. Our meals were fantastic and the service was just as good. If we are ever fortunate enough to return to Milan, we will surely make this place a priority to return to.

This was the absolute best way to end our time in Milan. They were very accommodating to some special needs that we had, chose a fabulous wine for us and were gracious in every way possible. The food was amazing too. This came recommended to me and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Esperienza molto positiva. Ambiente intimo e accogliente. I risotti ovviamente sono il cuore dell’esperienza e ottimi. Personale gentile. L’orario è un aspetto per loro molto importante. Esperienza da ripetere.

30/07/2025: It was a unique experience, a unique platter, with an 8-year-old cured ham, excellent Piedmontese beef, a flaw for the mixed grilled dish, being a lavish dish, the last cut had cooled, I recommended serving it on a hot plate, however they immediately brought me a hot plate and the problem was solved.
08/07/2025: A truly wonderful discovery, with special dishes for meat lovers! And the quality is excellent. I also really appreciated the hospitality and courtesy!
