Food: Truly exceptional! Very high quality of ingredients. We highly recommend the risotto with ossobuco and the risotto with speck and green apple. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 risottos (x4 people since a portion of risotto is at least 2 people) and 1 second course, 3 bottles of water and 2 bottles of wine. Service: Available, professional, prepared (the waiter gave us excellent advice on pairing the wine for the dishes chosen both by type and label), polite and courteous. Place: even if the tables are very close together and it is a bit difficult to move inside, the environment is very bright and furnished in a sober and elegant way. Price: the price range is probably important but, if you consider the quality of the service and the dishes, the quality/price ratio is adequate; we paid around €60 per person. On average, every time we return to Milan we stop in when we can!

On the advice of a friend, I organized a dinner for an association. The place is small and welcoming, about 40 seats. The food and service are quality. Excellent dishes mainly from the Milanese tradition: risotto and meat second courses. The owner is always very available to satisfy requests. Advised

A perfect Sant'Ambrogio, away from the crowds, in a comfortable environment with welcoming staff. What matters, however, is a highly satisfying cuisine, starting from the dish that gives the restaurant its name, a Milanese risotto that is among the best I have tasted. And finally a very reasonable bill compared to many more central and often disappointing places.

Very intimate place, few tables and little noise, you can hold a conversation without shouting and leave without ringing ears. Excellent dishes both in terms of starters and risottos, we had a really excellent kidney risotto! Impeccable service in terms of kindness and professionalism even if at times I felt the waiter breathing down my neck a bit... A note about the prices, I would have thought of spending a lot more! A great place to eat special dishes cooked properly at the right price, we would definitely return.

Definitely a good restaurant if you like risotto, with some drawbacks you have to order a risotto for two, wine by the glass at 10 euros decidedly excessive, desserts are better left on the menu

The best experience in Milan! It's fine dining and reservations are required, but I don't know where to make them. Luckily, there was an empty seat so I was able to eat. All meals and even desserts were great.

Cercavamo un posto dove gustare la cucina milanese ed abbiamo gustato un buon risotto. Purtroppo bisogna ordinare lo stesso risotto per due.

Questo ristorante merita sicuramente un commento positivo per la qualita' delle materie prime utilizzate ed anche per la cortesia e la professionalita' del personale di sala. L'ambiente e' abbastanza chic come decorazioni e come tipologia di servizio. Non condivido la scelta di disporre i tavoli a una distanza di 10cm l'uno dall'altro. Capisco che la sala non sia enorme e che abbiano dovuto ottimizzare gli spazi aggingendo piu' coperti possibili, ma se uno decide di trascorrere una serata tranquilla in un posto raffinato ed elegante, spendendo anche una cifra considerevole, desidera anche di un po' di privacy e non ha necessariamente voglia di condividere le proprie conversazioni con degli sconosciuti seduti nei tavoli limitrofi, ne' di ascoltare forzatamente i loro discorsi personali. Altra cosa che non mi ha fatto impazzire e' l'obbligo che c'e' di dover mangiare lo stesso risotto. Infatti, l'ordine minimo e' per due persone. Se si va in coppia non si possono scegliere due risotti diversi. E' un vero peccato, perche' vista l'offerta, la tentazione di voler assaggiare piu' cose e' forte, ma, come ci hanno spiegato, non fanno eccezioni! Nota positiva: alla fine della cena ci hanno dato un libbricino con delle ricette di risotti tradizionali e non da poter provare a rifare a casa. Un'idea decisamente apprezzabile!
