Go there with your eyes closed. Everything is delicious. The cutlet is veal fried in butter, which in a place like Milan, hard to believe, is also hard to find.

Excellent quality, well-served dishes, I ate an excellent risotto alla milanese... really highly recommended... a restaurant that has been working with dedication and great professionalism for 40 years.

Dinner with a couple of friends. Starter with culatello and mondeghili very good. Delicious risottos with cooked rice that was nothing short of perfect. A beautiful discovery.

A great discovery. It was like feeling at home. Attentive but not intrusive service, exceptional risottos for pairings and cooking. We had the risotto of the month with saffron, hazelnuts and coffee powder and one with pears, cheese and sweet and sour onions. Really highly recommended.

Suonare il campanello per entrare dà già l’idea che ti accoglierà una casa, appunto, e non un semplice ristorante. La sala è elegante e intima. Abbiamo apprezzato molto sia la qualità della cucina (buonissimo il carciofo con le olive e il risotto limone e origano) sia la gentilezza di tutto lo staff. Una piacevole scoperta.

The green apple risotto is particularly delicious and has a refreshing fragrance. Although it is for two people, it is not much. One person can finish it. Unfortunately, I am only one person here and cannot try other dishes. I will come next time Will eat here again in Milan

Food: Truly exceptional! Very high quality of ingredients. We highly recommend the risotto with ossobuco and the risotto with speck and green apple. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 risottos (x4 people since a portion of risotto is at least 2 people) and 1 second course, 3 bottles of water and 2 bottles of wine. Service: Available, professional, prepared (the waiter gave us excellent advice on pairing the wine for the dishes chosen both by type and label), polite and courteous. Place: even if the tables are very close together and it is a bit difficult to move inside, the environment is very bright and furnished in a sober and elegant way. Price: the price range is probably important but, if you consider the quality of the service and the dishes, the quality/price ratio is adequate; we paid around €60 per person. On average, every time we return to Milan we stop in when we can!

On the advice of a friend, I organized a dinner for an association. The place is small and welcoming, about 40 seats. The food and service are quality. Excellent dishes mainly from the Milanese tradition: risotto and meat second courses. The owner is always very available to satisfy requests. Advised

A perfect Sant'Ambrogio, away from the crowds, in a comfortable environment with welcoming staff. What matters, however, is a highly satisfying cuisine, starting from the dish that gives the restaurant its name, a Milanese risotto that is among the best I have tasted. And finally a very reasonable bill compared to many more central and often disappointing places.
