A Christmas dinner with a bang! We're so happy!

One fabulous Risotto heaven slightly off the beaten track! Highly recommended for its flavorful menu with a creative twist on top of the typical Milanese tradition.

A truly beautiful restaurant, with a truly wow-worthy selection of risottos. The thoughtful decor and service, along with the many recommendations, made all the difference in making us feel welcome. I will definitely return. The desserts are excellent, too!

Rating from 0 to 10? 11. I can't wait to go back for a number of reasons: Extraordinary food, beautiful venue, qualified staff, and fair prices. Excellent!

Overall, a good experience. I would have appreciated a little more attention, as they got one of the risottos wrong. We were disappointed and didn't want to wait another 25 minutes, so we decided to keep the one they brought us. However, I expected a discount on the bill, or a free dessert for those who received the wrong risotto. Otherwise, a pleasant place, friendly staff, and good rice!

A refined location, with a soft gray interior and outdoor seating, extremely friendly and professional staff, beautiful upholstered seating and elegant tablecloths, excellent service, and a sophisticated clientele. The menu is varied, with unique risotto specialties. My choice was the fried porcini mushroom appetizer with zucchini flowers, the pumpkin risotto with crispy Jerusalem artichokes in red wine, and the glazed chestnut mousse. We were delighted by the excellent and very friendly chef! At the end of the dinner, we were even given a brochure on how to prepare some of their risottos! Everything was perfect! I highly recommend it.

We wouldn't have been there without the TV show Kitchen Impossible. Some of the best risotto in town. A small, very personal shop. The food is incredible.

Hats off to the chef and his team. We can in for lunch on a Saturday and they were nice enough to seat us without reservations( I wouldn't recommend it) As a tourist my first idea a restaurant will be good is that everyone there is local. Other than us everyone here was local. The chef came out to take our orders personally and walked us through the menu. We had the ossubuco and the cotoletta. We have eaten in zmichelin starred restaurants in the past couple of weeks here in Italy and this food made me want to bring my family back for a meal. The saffron risotto was cooked perfectly and the ossubucco and the gravy were just 😋. The veal, especially the part on the bone almost had me eating my fingers. The seasonal sorbet, was some sort of berry but it doesn't matter because it rivaled the best gelaterias we had been too. The coupe de grace was the recipe book of his personal risotto recipes.

Little hidden pearl in Milan. You‘re expected to have fantastic Risotto in Milan pretty much everywhere, but Casa Fontana takes you to a different level. Congrats!
