A nice and welcoming place with a large terrace overlooking the garden. The food is good and varied. I had the pizza; they make it thin, not Neapolitan-style, but it was really good. Recommended.

I visited this restaurant after a full day exploring Bergamo and Milan. The prices were very reasonable, with my meal and wine totaling approximately €10, making it an affordable option for travelers. I ordered the salmon penne and learned that the pasta was prepared in the traditional Italian style, known as “al dente,” which is firmer than what many Americans may be accustomed to. While the texture was not my personal preference, I recognize that it reflects authentic Italian preparation rather than poor quality. The salmon was incorporated into the pasta rather than served as a separate fillet, which was different from what I expected when ordering. The house sweet wine was lightly sparkling, which surprised me. Travelers who prefer still wines may want to ask for recommendations before ordering. There was also an accidental spill of my first glass of wine, though these things can happen in busy restaurants. Overall, this was an inexpensive and authentic local dining experience. While the meal did not become a favorite of my trip, the value was excellent and it gave me a better understanding of traditional Italian dining styles and flavors.

A nice surprise, a simple, clean place with good food. I felt right at home. I recommend parking in the large North Park parking lot, 100 meters away.

A quiet trattoria with a traditional menu. Today I tried the lasagna with speck, asparagus, and pea cream. It was delicious! The pizzas are also good, but what I love about this place is the kindness of the owner and the staff, all very young and professional! 😊

A true trattoria from days gone by, surviving Milan's frenetic pace. Well, when you step into Mauro's (now run by his son, Ruggero), forget the rush and let yourself be transported by this timeless atmosphere, with gnocco fritto, tortellini, fresh pasta, cotoletta alla Bolognese, and other delicacies, as well as homemade desserts. P.S.: Wash it all down with a Sangiovese or a superb Lambrusco, which will help you forget all your worries. Try it, you won't be disappointed!
