We had dinner here during the summer festival and got a table for two without reservation (hard to find,we tried several other spots before). The stuff is extremely friendly and explained the dishes to us in English. We had an excellent asperagus lasagne and grilled beef with potatoes plus two huge mixed salads and a bottle of water and paid 51 Euro in total. We were more than happy with this place and instantly recommended it to people outside looking at the menue!

Today the two of us had lunch in this nice trattoria. We received a very friendly welcome and were then escorted to the tables on the first floor. We were given a friendly small menu, we decided on two mixed salads as a starter, my wife ordered pasta with seafood and I ordered a lasagne al ragù. Even with the salad it was clear that the cooking was done with heart: extremely fresh various leaf lettuces, thinly sliced ​​cabbage, grated carrots and tomatoes. As usual in Italy, make it yourself with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt & pepper - simply perfect! The table is set with a white fabric tablecloth and fabric napkins. When the pasta was served it was certain: someone who knows his craft was cooking here: the spaghetti al dente with cozze. Vongole, the smallest octopus and even some fresh tuna pieces. Everything extremely fresh in a fine tomato sauce - to die for! My lasagne: really thin, homemade sheets with a ragù that tasted as typically Italian as you can't get at home. I've probably never had such a perfect lasagna before. Half a liter of Prosecco, a bottle of mineral water and two coffees. Apparently a lunch special with starter and main course, wine, water and coffee for an incredible 15 EUR per person! I would have paid twice as much for this quality and the super friendly service - it would have been worth it! Hopefully we will come there again on our trip!

A good restaurant within the walls of Marostica

It deserves 5 stars for every aspect: very well-kept place, very kind staff and superlative food. The asparagus risotto I tried was truly excellent and with a very generous portion. My wife tried the ravioli filled with asparagus sautéed with bacon: very good. Stopping here was a great choice. We'll be back!

We ate Vicenza-style cod with polenta, really excellent. We will be back to try other menus. Trained and courteous staff. Fair price
