I have been frequenting these areas of the province of Vicenza for many years and today I stopped in this place for lunch with my wife.
The double menu, meat and fish, had disturbed me a little; we opted for the second and the choice was very favourable.
Nice and comfortable place, professional service, balanced menu with well-made dishes, generous portions served excellently. The snails bourguignonne deserve a special mention, prepared with a modification to the original recipe that we particularly liked: excellent!
The wine list is normal and offers local and non-local combinations, by the bottle and by the glass (my favorite option...)
The "cuddle" at the end of the meal, a Venetian that is not on the menu, was also particularly appreciated.
A small mix-up with the bill was immediately resolved by the owner, chapeau!
Having quite difficult tastes, I'm not used to reviewing a place that doesn't deserve it but in this case I will return to try their meat offerings too.

Local located in the center of Marostica under the arcades. Excellent quality food and kindness make you feel at home. Super recommended also for the excellent quality/price ratio.

I went to eat with my family on Christmas Eve, good food, nice place but despite this I didn't have a good experience with the service of one of the employees (for the others nothing to say, very kind and helpful) .... I'm also sorry because it ruined the moment of celebration a bit, one of the waitresses was really rude, from the order of the first courses to which she responded rudely to a couple of the adults in the company, to the service of the appetizers and the coffees, a small thing like a confusion between one starter dish and another (which had been ordered in advance in the afternoon) became a moment of altercation between the guests and the waitress... at the time of the coffee, when they were brought, despite had told the lady that the coffee belonged to one of the boys (who was distracted at the moment) she waited, repeating several times what coffee it was in an annoyingly loud voice, for the boy to notice and say it was his (three times she had been told said that the coffee belonged to the boy), after this the lady teased the boy by saying "hello" as soon as he raised his head.
I have to say that it wasn't exactly welcoming.
I'm also sorry to write these words but I think it's right.

Very nice, welcoming place. Varied menu and good food. Friendly staff and fast service. A stone's throw from the splendid square of Marostica.

Yesterday we booked at the Caissa restaurant, leaving from Venice, to take a tour of Marostica. Pleasant environment, you can easily have a non-formal chat with the waiters; what I ate was Vicenza-style cod: the starter and first courses were also good. I have to consider the cod tasted as the best Vicenza-style cod eaten in the Veneto. If I have to give a vote to this one I owe a 10 and to all the others tasted, on many other occasions, a "political" 1 to save them.

Cena di gruppo a base di una buonissima e ricca paella . Ottimi gli antipasti e speciale la crema catalana. Ottima atmosfera e personale gentile e competente !!!
