Trattoria Caissa in Marostica is definitely worth a visit. We came here for lunch and felt warmly welcomed from the start. The restaurant is very clean, well-kept, and welcoming, with a family atmosphere. We chose the two-course lunch menu. For the first course, we enjoyed radicchio risotto, creamy and delicate, with the characteristic slightly bitter flavor of radicchio. For the second course, we had prosciutto with omelette, simple but very flavorful and made with fresh ingredients. For sides, we could choose baked potatoes or vegetables, and the menu price (€20) also included water or wine, which was a real treat. The lady who served us was kind and helpful—she showed us around the restaurant, including the first-floor dining room and the terrace, which in the summer is filled with flowers and offers a beautiful view of the castle. It was clear she was truly proud of this place, and rightly so. In conclusion, for the quality of the food, the atmosphere, the cleanliness, and the hospitality, Trattoria Caissa is a place I highly recommend to anyone visiting Marostica and the surrounding area.
