Our experience at Burla Giò restaurant in Milan was decidedly positive. We appreciated the quality of the food and the excellent wine selection, all of which was complemented by an extremely fair and competitive bill for the city.

Great location and ambiance. There’s an upstairs as well. The staff was very efficient, nice and helpful. The food was so so for me.

Due to the heat, the experience wasn't as superb as I'd imagined. Even though we were indoors, the air conditioning was underpowered, so it was very hot; staying outside was unthinkable. My risotto al salto was a little overcooked and a bit too charred; let's just say it wasn't the best night to try this famous restaurant. Maybe I'll try again.

The cutest authentic Italian restaurant in the city!! We had a very pleasant experience at the restaurant. All the dishes we had were very tasty, especially the Milanese Risotto Staff are very warm and welcoming.

We had a fantastic meal at Burla Giò. I ordered the ragù and the famous cotoletta alla milanese, and I was amazed by the size of the cutlet, it was literally bigger than my hand! The portions were very generous, and everything we tasted was delicious. The manager or I think the owner was incredibly accommodating, kind, and welcoming. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. We would definitely come back the next time we’re in Milan! ❤️🍽️🇮🇹

I ordered the classic Milanese risotto and Milanese shank combo (32 euros), which was absolutely delicious! The sauce was amazing, and the shank was tender and juicy. Definitely worth a try!

A truly excellent experience. We tasted an excellent saffron risotto, a crispy and flavorful Milanese cutlet, as well as a more creative option that surprised us with its taste and originality. Dishes were meticulously crafted, featuring quality ingredients and authentic flavors. Impeccable service and a welcoming atmosphere. Compliments to the chef and all the staff. Highly recommended!

The best! The food is divine. It was my second time there, and they didn't disappoint! They're super quick to bring you food, even when the restaurant is full. Recommended! Oh, I forgot, it's not that expensive either! One of the best places to eat typical Milanese food, if not the best!

19/04/2026: We recently had dinner at Zoi, and I have to say it was a wonderful surprise. I remembered it as a small café with excellent vegan desserts and amazing bread... but today it's transformed into a full-fledged restaurant, and the leap in quality is clear. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, perfect for both a relaxing dinner and something a little more special. The menu is creative, completely vegan, but capable of truly winning over everyone: refined dishes, beautifully presented, and above all, delicious. You can sense a great attention to the quality of the ingredients and the pairings. A special mention goes to what I already remembered: the bread and desserts. They confirmed (or rather, exceeded!) my expectations. The service was friendly and attentive, without being intrusive, and helped make the experience even more enjoyable. In short: if it was already a good place before, it's now become a true destination. Highly recommended, even for those who aren't vegan but want to discover something different and truly well-made. We'll definitely be back!
