Just to make it clear where I am... . I find myself having lunch next to whoodi goldberg.... Who certainly came here not by chance... The rest was a wonderful experience, trattoria. Well looked after and excellent quality food. A nice surprise.

A slightly disappointing experience, mostly because we expected excellent food, instead we ate reasonably well without infamy or praise but having paid a really high amount we expected much more. The restaurant is quite large with several seats distributed over several floors and is located a few steps from the Piazza del Duomo of Caltagirone. The menu is rather limited and mainly offers typical Sicilian dishes with some reinterpretations. The management is family-run and the staff is courteous and helpful. The portions are generous and the quality of the ingredients is decent. High prices.

Everything was excellent, from the service to the food. The hostess welcomes you with a smile in a familiar environment, you sit down and after a few minutes you are served. From the appetizer to the first courses and then to the second courses, everything was good.

One of best meals in our two week trip to Sicily and just one night in Caltagirone- which was recommended by our b&b host around the corner. Great food and wine and friendly staff. Give it a go.

Ottima scelta; il personale e cordiale ed accogliente, il cibo di ottima qualita, ben presentato e con porzioni ricche di gusto; situato nel centro storico della cittadina, a pochi passi dalla celebre scalinata di Caltagironi, e’ senza dubbio un ristorante da provare sia a pranzo sia a cena.

12/10/2024: My wife and I were on a bike excursion when we accidentally found ourselves passing through a secondary road in Bronte and we were attracted by this delicious smell of bread... We then decided to stop and what can we say... Top staff, but they were clearly better products of excellent quality. I have visited many places that boasted “local” products (so to speak), and I ALWAYS found products that you can easily find in the supermarket without labels. However, I would go back here a million times, the only flaw is not having it close to home which is a good thing because I would spend whole days eating that delicious bread. For the rest, we had simply gone in to taste some bread when Signorina Pia, courteous, super helpful and ready to recommend fresh products, let us out with full bags. If I could I would give 10 stars

08/02/2025: Comfortable place. Excellent pizza. The second courses are also very good. Excellent welcome and impeccable table service. Reservation is recommended. we will return again
05/01/2025: The pasta doesn't stand out at all, I do recommend the pizzas.
