An excellent lunch featuring fresh, well-prepared fish, excellent wine, and delicious desserts prepared by the chef. Excellent service made even more unique by the friendliness of the owner. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Caltagirone!

My partner and I had lunch at this trattoria. We chose the fish-based menu, and everything was not only plentiful but, above all, fresh and delicious. The hostess also recommended a white wine to pair with the dish, and she was very kind because, even though we were finishing our meal close to closing time, she never rushed us. We'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful meal. The place is beautiful and well-kept. The owner is incredibly friendly and gave us excellent advice on what to eat. For an appetizer, we had grilled octopus on mashed potatoes and fava bean soup, and for a main course, trofie with swordfish, eggplant, and mint. Truly delicious dishes with fresh ingredients and excellent flavors. We'll definitely be back.

Decent quality, generous portions, but prices not like those of a trattoria

A few days ago, we visited this lovely restaurant in the heart of Caltagirone. We wandered in by chance, confident we'd made the right choice! The place is very well-kept and the staff is truly welcoming. We asked for a table change, which was granted immediately. We ate very well; the kitchen knows how to juggle meat and fish. My partner and I had a delicious grilled meat and fish. A very positive note also for the grilled vegetables, which proved to be as good as our meat and fish main courses. This beautiful restaurant deserves recognition not only for the quality of the food, but also for the professionalism and wonderful hospitality of Giusy, an excellent and gracious hostess, who at the end of the evening even managed to entice Samuele, the restaurant's excellent chef, out of the restaurant. The wine selection is also good. If you find yourself in Caltagirone, don't miss the opportunity to have lunch or dinner at Giusy and Samuele!

Very nice place. Really welcoming service. The food is nothing to write home about.
