I had dinner here with my wife last night and I highly recommend the restaurant. The people who work here are friendly, kind, and patient. The dishes are excellent, with portions more generous than I expected. The two of us split a portion of mozzarella bites wrapped in pancetta, then we had baked pasta with white ragù and prosciutto (off the menu, so you might not find it when you come) and tortellini in parmesan cream: everything was delicious, and the tortellini (made on site) were truly exceptional. The desserts (my wife's tenerina, a mascarpone cream with chocolate chips) were also memorable. The coffee was excellent, too. Dear Trattoria Amedea, it was a real pleasure meeting you: we'll definitely be back to try your tortellini in brodo and your cotoletta.

A traditional restaurant that won't disappoint. The first courses are delicious, and the second courses are equally delicious. The staff is courteous and friendly, and the place is very charming. Definitely worth a try.

A trattoria located on the outskirts of Bologna. All the Bolognese specialties and all the dishes in general are excellent. I tried it with a group of friends and it was a great experience. Highly recommended!

A very well-maintained location, modern yet reminiscent of old-fashioned trattorias. Very good dishes and excellent value, a nice selection of wines, and delicious house desserts to round out our dinner. Friendly and unobtrusive service, thanks also to the attentive service of the owner Simone, who is kind and attentive to his guests. We will definitely be back to try the outdoor veranda!

Want to eat authentic food? Go to Trattoria Amedea. Want to eat well? Go to Trattoria Amedea. Want to feel at home? Go to Trattoria Amedea. Fantastic food, fabulous staff. From the owner (the great Simo) to the waiters, they're always attentive to making sure the customer wants for nothing, but always discreet. And even though the rooms aren't huge (thank goodness!), there's plenty of privacy between the tables, so you can chat freely. I highly recommend Trattoria Amedea if you love good food and the taste of a real trattoria.

Ristorante Vàmolà

10/02/2026: A very welcoming restaurant in Altedo, located inside a large farmhouse, surrounded by spacious grounds, a garden, and a pool. The staff are young and friendly, fast, and welcoming. We had lunch on a delightful, light-filled veranda with a checked tablecloth, a must in the best trattorias. The Bolognese menu offers a wide selection. We ordered a taglierini (a thin slice of cured meat) for two with pinzini (small crescentine-shaped pasta), a tartare with slow-cooked egg, capers, olives, and mustard, and a tagliata (a thin slice of beef) with sauce, baked potatoes, and fried porcini mushrooms. The Poggio ai Ginepri red wine from the Argentiera di Bolgheri winery was a great discovery. We finished with a millefeuille and a semi-passito (a kind of dessert) and coffee. We had a wonderful time, even being watched by a beautiful, very well-behaved poodle at the next table, who we later discovered was the manager's dog. Beautiful day, great music. We'll be back!
18/01/2026: I really enjoyed the food overall. It fully satisfied my refined palate, especially the Fassona Hangus steak, an absolute delicacy. Excellent service, friendly staff. A well-maintained, homely atmosphere. I will definitely be back.
