Everything was delicious in a retro setting. Good prices. Superb service. Super friendly and welcoming.

Highly recommended, especially the variety of appetizers. The place is informal but the service is top-notch, offering excellent value for money!

The owner was very kind and attentive. The waitresses were very rude; they seemed annoyed that we were there for dinner. They never smiled; whenever you asked them anything, they'd respond rudely and with a huff. The food was delicious!

From time to time, the winemaker likes to visit small seaside towns, far from mass tourism, with even smaller bars and trattorias. In the mornings, the fishermen sit there, loudly exchanging the latest news. From midday onwards, fresh seafood is served, without a menu, and preferably appetizers until you're full. The winemaker enjoyed a platter of "Crudo" (scampi, tuna, oysters, ceviche), bakkala, lukewarm octopus salad, mantis shrimp, Catalan scampi salad, sardines, gratinato (capelunge, capesante), fritto misto, and dessert. So, about nine plates... delicious and at extremely fair prices. We also had Prosecco and Friulano, grappa... all of the highest quality, available at the winemaker's.

The food, from appetizer to dessert, is an explosion of flavors. Excellent service. Comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

I've been frequenting the Bar Trattoria alla Nave "Mami" for years now, and I can confidently say that it's the absolute go-to place for those seeking fresh fish, cooked with respect and simplicity in Marano Lagunare. The quality of the fish has always been excellent, with the freshest ingredients showcased to the fullest thanks to a simple and respectful cuisine. The owner is a wonderful person: attentive, helpful, and always ready to recommend the best options based on the day and the catch. Trust him, you won't go wrong. The real must? The selection of appetizers: raw, warm, and cooked. A journey of flavor that captures the lagoon like few others. If you're looking for authenticity, passion, and fish prepared just right, this is the place. You'll want to come back time and time again. A little tip: book well in advance, especially in the summer; given the restaurant's popularity and (well-deserved) success, it's practically impossible to find a table.

Mr. Loris Pizzolato's Osteria di Mare Alla Nave was a pleasant discovery, discovered by chance thanks to my work years ago... The place doesn't look very good, having remained stuck in its 1980s decor and even featuring a lotto theme that has little to do with a seafood osteria. However, Mr. Loris pays special attention and care to his gray-haired clientele...even at the cost of neglecting passing tourists, most likely a service he wanted to leave for this segment of people, who we know are drawn to the lottery, as well as for the few residents of Marano. But let's describe the salient qualities of this place, which stands out for its unbeatable value for money in the region and the excellent attention paid by Mr. Loris and his staff to their customers. Don't think about stopping by Alla Nave for lunch or dinner at the last minute, because if you manage to, you'll just be lucky... In fact, it's necessary (and not just on the weekend) to book a table with them not weeks, but months in advance, and this says a lot about the restaurant... Every day, Mr. Loris offers his diners the freshest seafood dishes, from hot and cold appetizers and their superb shrimp crudités, red tuna tartare, oysters, and more, to first courses with homemade squid ink pasta, grilled or fried fish main courses, and even a small selection of homemade desserts by the glass and a wide selection of rum and chocolate. In short, if you manage to book a table, you won't be disappointed at all; on the contrary... you'll even be very surprised by the total bill, finding it always below your wildest expectations. When we go to Alla Nave with my family or friends, we linger over the selection of appetizers offered at Mr. Loris' discretion, always meeting his customers' tastes. For those who still have room, he also offers excellent first courses like squid ink tagliatelle with shrimp and bottarga. In conclusion... So, don't be fooled by the restaurant's appearance (which also offers seating in the outdoor piazza in the summer). Come in, sit down, and trust Mr. Loris—you won't regret it... Alla Nave is a place of SUBSTANCE, not just appearance!
