Trattoria Al Porticciolo In Sirmione

One of my favorite restaurants for 15 years, the location is enchanting, the food is divine, both fish and pizza, and the wine list is also good and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

I had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant and although I arrived late, they were still very welcoming. The food was very delicious and the staff were very friendly. I had the risotto and it was very delicious.

I returned to Al Porticciolo after a year. The location remains truly exceptional, practically on the lakeshore. The service has improved significantly, with the staff even more helpful and competent. The menu is even more extensive, the dishes beautiful to look at, but above all, delicious to taste. These are ancient dishes revisited with a modern twist. The desserts are also truly delicious; you can tell the people behind them are skilled, passionate, and use excellent products. I highly recommend it.

I confess: I was supposed to go to the trattoria next door, but it was closed, and after a five-hour drive, I was so hungry I couldn't get back in the car. I'm so grateful to the owner of the trattoria for deciding to go on vacation because I discovered this place, which is definitely worth a second visit. I wasn't thrilled with the fried octopus, but the pasta, ladies and gentlemen, was exceptional. Spaghetti allo scoglio and linguine with clams were perfect for mopping up the pasta. The Gragnano pasta was cooked perfectly; after all, the owners (if I'm not mistaken) are from Campania and don't let themselves be influenced by the tastes of German tourists who prefer overcooked pasta. 😜 Also a mention for the attentive service and the guy who served us, who was super kind.

🍝 Review of a trattoria in Sirmione Last night, we visited a cozy trattoria in the heart of Sirmione, just a few steps from the lakeshore. As soon as we entered, we sensed that typically Italian ambiance – warm colors, a friendly welcome, and the enticing scent of fresh pasta and herbs in the air. The atmosphere was warm and authentic. The tables were lovingly set with checkered tablecloths, and soft Italian music played in the background. Despite the large number of guests, there was no rush – everything seemed relaxed and inviting. The menu offered a lovely selection of traditional dishes: homemade tagliatelle with truffles, fresh fish from Lake Garda, and crispy pizzas from the wood-fired oven. The service was also extremely friendly and attentive. The waitresses took the time to offer recommendations, and you could tell the passion they put into their work. To finish, of course, a tiramisu was a must – airy, aromatic, and the perfect end to a successful evening. If you're in Sirmione and looking for authentic Italian cuisine in a family atmosphere, I highly recommend this trattoria.
