Amazing Food in great atmosphere!

A charming trattoria in the historic center of Malamocco, on the Venice Lido. A quaint atmosphere and friendly, efficient service. Good, well-prepared food.

Now this is a truly unique experience! The atmosphere in this typical trattoria on the Lido is electric, with a clientele that's mostly local and regulars. The waiters are constantly moving, the antipasti are incredibly fresh, the spaghetti with mussels and clams is delicious, and the decor is nautical... You're not quite sure what's going on, but it's a real pleasure to watch the customers chatting from table to table, the owners and waiters greeting newcomers, and the constant flow of people coming and going. Magical. As for the food, the quality is superb, from the antipasti to the desserts. The tiramisu is excellent. Prices are in line with the average. Spritz and house wine are cheaper than in Venice. A perfect choice after a bike ride from the Lido on line 1.

Fantastic place, great people, perfect atmosphere

A restaurant that is an icon of authentic Venetian cuisine. Chef Mauretto, the owner, presents Venetian dishes in all their essence. The fish pie is unbeatable, especially the prices are worthy of the dishes. The location and ambiance are among the most beautiful on the Venice Lido, all nestled in the stunning Malamocco setting. Special, but the options leave much to be desired. ONLY FISH, but what fish!

Typical baccaro, frequented by locals, fabulous cicchetti. Excellent value for money. The place was popular with Prato residents, and inside there are some beautiful lithographs of Corto Maltese.

To those who say the atmosphere is folksy, I say they should go to a different kind of restaurant. Al Ponte di Borgo is a classic Venetian trattoria that should be protected as a heritage site. The place where you eat whatever the sea offers, depending on the day and the season. Authentic flavors, an authentic atmosphere. Thanks to Mauretto for maintaining this high level of quality despite the influx of tourists. Come with peace of mind, eat anything, including raw fish, but come without preconceptions.
