A restaurant that is an icon of authentic Venetian cuisine. Chef Mauretto, the owner, presents Venetian dishes in all their essence. The fish pie is unbeatable, especially the prices are worthy of the dishes. The location and ambiance are among the most beautiful on the Venice Lido, all nestled in the stunning Malamocco setting. Special, but the options leave much to be desired. ONLY FISH, but what fish!

Typical baccaro, frequented by locals, fabulous cicchetti. Excellent value for money. The place was popular with Prato residents, and inside there are some beautiful lithographs of Corto Maltese.

To those who say the atmosphere is folksy, I say they should go to a different kind of restaurant. Al Ponte di Borgo is a classic Venetian trattoria that should be protected as a heritage site. The place where you eat whatever the sea offers, depending on the day and the season. Authentic flavors, an authentic atmosphere. Thanks to Mauretto for maintaining this high level of quality despite the influx of tourists. Come with peace of mind, eat anything, including raw fish, but come without preconceptions.

The one, true, inimitable, and sadly, last innkeeper in Venice. Mauro is, unfortunately, "the last of the Mohicans"... and anyone who complains about the price should go buy their own fish (99.9% freshly caught), wash it, prepare it, cook it, and see what they spend. IMPECCABLE

Dopo un lungo giro in bici ci siamo fermati a pranzo in questo locale su consiglio di una persona del posto, non ci si deve aspettare un ristorante di lusso ma una tipica trattoria dove si mangia bene e si è serviti da personale verace e simpatico. L'offerta è abbastanza varia e il pescato è del posto e sicuramente fresco. Tutto sommato una bella e buona esperienza,con rapporto qualità prezzo giusto visto che siamo a due passi dal lido di Venezia. Unica pecca non esiste menù e quindi listino....

28/09/2025: I spent time there with my friend during my trip in a Venice. Very excellent SPRITZ, made it with the best quality. The owner, Anna, it’s a brilliant woman and very nice. The bar it’s really clean and nice. I’ll come back there soon
20/09/2025: Perfect for chilled evening and Anna was amazing. So welcoming and make my girlfriends experience so good we were desperate to come back before we had to go back to the UK. No pushy vibes - we felt like one of the locals and the red wine is top tier

The portions were generous, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The quiet, welcoming atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable.
