Trattoria Al Pompiere In Verona

We eat at restaurants quite often, especially when we travel, and even though my steak was a bit too rare for my idea of ​​"medium," we really enjoyed this sweet, traditional restaurant. The owner/chef and his team are super friendly. We'll be back again and again. Thank you for the lovely evening and all your hard work.

Incredible experience at Trattoria al Pompiere! We arrived without a reservation, more lost than a gringo ordering paella in Norway, and they greeted us with a giant smile. We wanted to try several dishes, and without even asking, they divided them into two separate plates. What a thoughtful touch. They seemed to know us and knew that if we tried to share just one dish, we'd end up shoveling forks. The food was very good. If you come to Verona and don't stop here, you're missing out... The waitress was very, very friendly.

Tuvimos una gran comida aquí para la tercera noche de nuestro fin de semana de cuatro días. Inusualmente cuando llegamos para nuestro 7 . 30 pm reserva el restaurante estaba lleno de familias locales - muchos drop ins fueron rechazados mientras estábamos allí. Comenzamos con una charcutería compartida y tablero de tagliere de queso que era excelente. Mi mejilla de ternera principal también era bueno y la Valpolicella Ripasso recomendado era muy bueno. El servicio era bueno, pero en su momento (mi intento de solicitar la carta de vinos era claramente demasiado pronto) . Ellos manejan dos sesiones muy fácilmente. Es un restaurante tradicional, estábamos en una habitación lateral, así que no pudimos ver el lado de la tienda preparar las tablas, etc, que habría sido bueno. Sin duda volvería. Osteria di alto livello nel centro di Verona, a due passi dalla casa di Giulietta. Ottimi piatti a base di carne, e cantina molto fornita. Locale curato, con atmosfera elegante ma casalinga al tempo stesso. Senz’altro un’ottima scelta per una occasione importante.
