The food is made with quality ingredients but lacks balance (e.g., too much tonnato sauce on the vitello). We paid an extra 5 euros for black truffle on our mushroom pasta, and we didn't see, taste, or smell any truffles. The staff is "functional" and probably bored with tourists. There was no goodbye despite the tip.

One of my favorite places on my trip to Italy. I had the best risotto I've ever had and a delicious ragu. The service was excellent and the atmosphere very pleasant. I was also surprised by their extensive wine menu, with options for all tastes.
I recommend making a reservation, as I went without one and had to wait a bit for a table, but it was totally worth it. It's a very busy place, and for good reason.

A good trattoria for Verona with friendly service. The pasta was okay, but nothing exceptional. The restaurant is located in a quiet alley, providing a pleasant atmosphere.

Very pleasant and good. Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent! We ordered a couple of starters (the vitello tonnato was spectacular) and then pasta, which was delicious! And the tiramisu is definitely a must-try!

I wanted to offer my mother a great Italian experience and followed the advice a known restaurant review site… it was a bit disappointing. It said specifically “vegetarian friendly” but only two pasta dishes were vegetarian. My mother ended up eating a very salty, not special at all, spaghetti with tomato sauce (supposedly with basil but hardly tasted it). Wine menu is very extensive but only expensive ones. She spent 40 euros for tomato sauce pasta, a glass and a half of wine and a shared (between 3) burrata. Service was good but not “warm” as the reviews said.

This place deserves all the raves that it gets.
Started with a selection of cured meats. We let the waiter make a choice of a variety of types. All different and all delectable.
Followed that with burrata with tomatoes and basil oil. Great burrata but the star was the delectable tomatoes.
We both had the asparagus risotto and could only order if 2 people did. Best risotto I have ever had. The rice itself was so perfectly cooked. Great bite to it so that it wasn’t hard nor (like most risottos) mushy. And the ratio of asparagus to rice was perfect. Risotto is often a bowl of rice but here it was half rice and half asparagus. And the sauce? Divine. Wow wow wow.
Ended with a scrumptious ricotta cake. A marvelous way to end the meal.

Everything about this place is fabulous. First class service from everyone. Salami sharing plate can’t be missed. And their pasta dishes were the best we had in Verona. But be sure to leave room for the tiramisu! Can’t wait to come again. This is a classy place. We loved it.

Tuvimos una gran comida aquí para la tercera noche de nuestro fin de semana de cuatro días. Inusualmente cuando llegamos para nuestro 7 . 30 pm reserva el restaurante estaba lleno de familias locales - muchos drop ins fueron rechazados mientras estábamos allí. Comenzamos con una charcutería compartida y tablero de tagliere de queso que era excelente. Mi mejilla de ternera principal también era bueno y la Valpolicella Ripasso recomendado era muy bueno. El servicio era bueno, pero en su momento (mi intento de solicitar la carta de vinos era claramente demasiado pronto) . Ellos manejan dos sesiones muy fácilmente. Es un restaurante tradicional, estábamos en una habitación lateral, así que no pudimos ver el lado de la tienda preparar las tablas, etc, que habría sido bueno. Sin duda volvería. Y el limoncello de cortesía se degustó en el extremo superior de la escala de fuerza.

Osteria di alto livello nel centro di Verona, a due passi dalla casa di Giulietta.
Ottimi piatti a base di carne, e cantina molto fornita. Locale curato, con atmosfera elegante ma casalinga al tempo stesso.
Senz’altro un’ottima scelta per una occasione importante.
