Just a short walk (or quick taxi ride) from the port, this trattoria welcomes you with cozy interiors, checkered tablecloths, and the charm of true Genovese hospitality. The menu highlights local favorites — hearty pastas, fresh seafood, and regional dishes that feel both rustic and refined. Service was friendly and attentive, even as the place filled up with locals (always the best sign!). Tip: If you’re tight on time, grab a taxi to make sure you can fit this in before heading back to the ship. But if you’ve got the afternoon free, enjoy the walk into town and let this be your reward at the end. 🍷🇮🇹

Excellent trattoria near the Genova Principe train station. We had a great experience; the staff were attentive and thorough, especially in explaining the dishes and happy to recommend typical local dishes.

We had lunch at this beautiful trattoria at the recommendation of the receptionist at the hotel where we were staying. The service was impeccable, and the local dishes were superb. We'll definitely be back.

Avond vol smaak in hartje Genua 🇮🇹 Na een dag vol indrukken in de stegen van Genua streken we neer in Trattoria Tralalero, vlak bij ons hotel en het station Piazza Principe. Wat een ontdekking! We genoten van een warme, authentiek Italiaanse sfeer — denk: houten lambrisering, maritieme details en vriendelijke bediening die ons meteen thuis deed voelen. Een plek waar locals en reizigers samenkomen, en waar traditie nog écht op het bord ligt.

Trattoria Tralalero era parte de nuestro hotel, así que fue fácil reservar la cena; me alegro de que lo hicimos como el restaurante se llenó muy rápido. La decoración de la habitación era muy casual y acogedor. El personal era igualmente acogedor y rápidamente nos sentó y nos dieron menús y agua filtrada. Elegimos raviolis y rodajas de ternera y patata como platos principales para acompañarnos de un par de copas de vino de Liguria. Los platos eran muy sabrosos y fueron seguidos por un postre deliciosamente indulgente de pastel de chocolate, helado de naranja - helado y natillas! Pedimos un vino dulce Sciacchetra (un vino Cinque Terra) de su carta de vinos, pero nos dieron otro vino que no era tan bueno. Si se habían agotado, deberíamos haber sido informados, de lo contrario tuvimos una buena comida y volvimos de nuevo en otro momento.
