We went there yesterday for lunch. There were 8 of us with two children aged 6-3. We had a very pleasant and welcoming experience (we didn't need to book). They also have the classic fries and cutlet for the kids. Fair portions and prices.

We dined twice at this restaurant and liked the atmosphere, quick serving, and good food. The portions are large so be careful so share a foccacia if you still wish to eat a secundo piatti. The mixed grill was a bit too heavy for our taste.

We arrived at 12 noon on the train from Rome. I booked quickly using Google Maps, and we had lunch at this trattoria. The atmosphere is very refined and sophisticated, and it's truly well-maintained. We ate the signature trofie with Genoese pesto. They were excellent, truly delicious, with a lovely pesto cream. For our second course, I had a sea bream fillet with cherry tomatoes, olives, and pine nuts. This was also delicious. The staff was very kind and helpful. We really enjoyed it, and it was an excellent lunch after a long five-hour train ride. If you come to Genoa, I recommend everyone to try it. It's just 2 minutes from the main train station, Piazza Principe.

Tralalero has to be one of if not the best eateries in Genoa. The food is consistently precise, but it’s the service that really stands out here. Andrea in particular keeps things ticking over like clockwork. I couldn’t rate this restaurant and its staff, Andrea in particular, highly enough!

Very convenient location near the central station, with a typical Genoese trattoria atmosphere.
The menu is limited, but for that reason, the dishes are few but good.
Very friendly service, and the background music (jazz) is very welcome.

An absolute gem. Trattoria Tralalero impresses with authentic Italian cuisine, fresh ingredients, and an atmosphere instantly reminiscent of a small family kitchen in Italy. The pasta is perfectly al dente, the sauces aromatic and well-balanced, and the selection of antipasti and wines leaves nothing to be desired. The service is warm, attentive, and pleasantly unobtrusive. A place you'll want to return to – for a relaxed evening, good food, and true dolce vita. Even if it is a bit near the train station. Cool tip!
