This is the first time I've taken the time to write a review, and that says it all, but the experience I had just had to write it! It's been a long time since I left a restaurant feeling satisfied and happy with the experience, and I experienced this in Milazzo at Totò. After trying other restaurants whose dishes featured raw and fried fish and pasta with shellfish, we ate carefully crafted, unconventional dishes that clearly showed the care and research that went into their creation. This care and research aren't an end in themselves, but are intended to create new flavors that are difficult to replicate at home. We enjoyed the pasta with arancini ragù, which took us back to our childhood, not to mention the desserts, whose uniqueness is the perfect conclusion to a superb dinner. I also commend the staff, who were very knowledgeable and friendly, and never intrusive in their suggestions and recommendations. Now I have a big regret: I live 1000km away... but I'll definitely remember how much I tasted. I highly recommend you try it! Thanks to the whole Totò crew, pass me the oil.

Update 2025: Really, with a heavy heart, I'm downgrading from 5 to 3 stars. I come here every year on my way back from the Aeolian Islands. This year, the prices are really, really high and the portions are worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. I live in Paris, but I'm returning to my Sicily to eat the good things from my homeland, not to gorge myself, but 30g of suckling pig with about 4-5g of anchovy-flavored black cabbage (which I'm still looking for) for 30 euros... 1 main course and 1 dessert each, just water and 2 coffees, for 160 euros for 4... I really pay less at some Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris. Please go back to being the little gem you were before. Review 2020: After spending four days in overrated Taormina eating mediocre dishes at exorbitant prices, finally a noteworthy restaurant... in the less glamorous Milazzo. A varied and original menu, extremely fresh and beautifully presented ingredients, and a knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely professional staff. By far the best restaurant of this summer 2020.

A simple yet refined location, a splendid open kitchen, and extremely professional and welcoming staff. Dishes prepared with simple ingredients, and the chef is extraordinarily talented. Each dish was a masterpiece of flavor and balance, and the wait staff was equally impressive, providing fascinating explanations of the dish's composition after each course. In conclusion, in my opinion, this is a gastronomic experience worth trying if you're vacationing in Milazzo.

To be honest, I found the place to be meticulously crafted, both in terms of ambiance and staff (who deserve special recognition, all of whom were very good). The dishes were a little less thoughtful; I certainly can't say the food wasn't good, but I had slightly higher expectations. A positive note goes to the desserts: delicious.

We visited this restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago, and we were truly blown away! The food was excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised by the use of unusual yet perfectly balanced ingredients. What made the experience even more special was the kindness and friendliness of the owners. You can sense the passion they put into running the place. We'll definitely be back!

Il ristorante è un vero gioiello: elegante, raffinato e curato nei minimi particolari. Il servizio è stato eccellente, il personale è stato super gentile e attento alle nostre esigenze. La cena è stata un vero trionfo dei sapori: l'antipasto, il secondo di pesce (freschissimo e buonissimo!) e il dolce hanno soddisfatto appieno le nostre aspettative. Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante a chiunque cerchi un'esperienza gastronomica di alta qualità in un ambiente raffinato e accogliente. 5 stelle meritatissime.

Locale molto carino, ambiente intimo ed elegante. Musica di sottofondo piacevole e mai invadente. Piatti buonissimi, serviti in maniera impeccabile. Materie prime eccezionali, un'esplosione di sapori in bocca. Tutte le paste sono di loro produzione e preparate quasi al momento. Tutte le portate erano ben bilanciate e permettevano di assaporare tutti gli ingredienti. In piu ad ogni piatto era abbinato un olio di qualità differente che ne esaltava il sapore. Dolci fatti da loro buonissimi. Servizio top, quasi da ristorante stellato, ottima cura del cliente. Tutti gentili e professionali. È stato una piacevole scoperta.
