What a fantastic find! The traditional dishes here are truly delicious, full of flavor and tradition. And the staff is super friendly; they made us feel right at home. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for a great dinner!

My husband and I, along with two other couples, left Rome for a vacation in Umbria. Arriving in Bevagna, we decided to have lunch at T.I.P., located in the main square. As soon as we entered, we noticed the menu displayed both at the entrance and inside the restaurant, written in large letters for easy reading. We were greeted by the kind and helpful staff, and we asked them for recommendations on the day's specials so we could try everything. After a pleasant chat, the platters arrived, generous and filled with excellent quality ingredients. The gnocchi al Sagrantino were a delight. The meatballs, the stew, and the patate attosto concluded a lunch of generous portions, served with care and attention. We skipped dessert for one simple reason: we returned in the evening for dinner, ending the day with these wonderful people. We will be back, not only because we're on vacation, but also throughout the year!!!

Wonderful location and atmosphere, excellent food. The gnocchi with Sagrantino and paccheri with tomato sauce were a dream. Great prices, great atmosphere, superb service, truck-sized portions! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

As I often do, I choose restaurants based on GMaps reviews. And I avoid those in the main square anyway. This one seemed like a welcome exception, but despite an excellent rating, it was the most disappointing of our tour of central Italy. Every dish was ordinary, on the level of a fixed-menu business lunch, and even the portions were modest. The meatballs tasted more like dumplings, their tomato sauce was acidic, and the mixed salad consisted of only greens with a single cherry tomato added. The legume soup was so-so.

A small trattoria in Bevagna's main square, where the food is excellent, the wine is excellent, the staff is lovely, including the chef, and everything is more than reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! After a lovely stroll through the streets of Bevagna, you absolutely must stop for lunch or dinner at TIP. Try the trofie with walnut pesto and their specialty veal stew with baked potatoes. Finish with the chocolate soufflé. Try it and write a review because the owners, under new management, have been open for a month, and I think they'll be a success because you can taste the fresh ingredients. Try it and believe it! 😎
