During our stay in Volterra, we had the pleasure of dining at Life Bistrot, and it was a truly special experience.
The vegan food is simply amazing: carefully crafted, tasty, creative, and capable of satisfying even the most discerning palates.
But what makes this place unique is Enrico, the owner: a lovely, welcoming, and generous person, who shared stories and anecdotes about the city with us, making us feel not just like customers but like true guests.
Life Bistrot isn't just a restaurant; it's a place where you can feel the passion, love for Volterra, and respect for food and people.
A place to keep in mind and recommend without hesitation. We'll definitely be back.

Just 100 meters from the main square, walking down toward the Porta Etrusca, you'll find this little gem, expertly renovated to highlight its ancient origins and recreate small, intimate spaces, each more charming than the last, where you can enjoy an experience that transcends the palate. The quality of the food, the choice of ingredients, and the magical pairings alone would be enough to create flavors never imagined from vegetables alone, but it's the atmosphere, the host's friendliness, and the beauty of the setting that will fill your palate in a unique experience, not to be missed if you visit Volterra.

Beautiful place! The owner was very kind, and the food was excellent and delicious! It's a pleasure to find a place like this in Tuscany, a land of meat but also open to the future!

A small but great surprise in a not-so-veg-friendly Tuscany.
After extensive research, we stumbled upon this restaurant, which is certainly charming.
But let's get to the food. The choice was quite difficult, thanks in part to the narration of each dish, which conveyed passion, attention to detail, and the choice of seasonal ingredients.
We were given a small, delicious welcome appetizer, as were the dishes that followed, which left us truly satisfied.

Highly recommend this place in Volterra. The interior has a glass floor, so you can see some Etruscan roads and wells below your feet. Our waiters were extremely friendly too. The real standout was the tiramisu, I could hardly believe it was plant based!
