Wow, just wow. Mara; who owns the restaurant took excellent care of us and was only outshined by the food. We’ve been all over Sicily and this restaurant stayed to the local cuisine and we felt like we were eating at a local family’s home who prepares food based on what the mountain offers. We had the Pork and the Etna Pasta. My wife and I loved both, but in my mind the sauce that accompanied the pork put that dish over the top.

It was the last dinner before leaving the Nebrodi area and I can say we finished it 'alla grande'. The food was magic. The Spaghetti Terra Mia and mixed grill were fabulous. To cap it all the deserts were mouth watering as well. The restaurant itself is in the countryside next to the small village of Sollichiato. The host made sure to explain each and every plate she put on the table. Hope to return at first opportunity.

Excellent place, welcoming atmosphere with a homely but professional feel. The lady gave us impeccable service for dinner, never rude or intrusive. Local dishes were excellent, as was the wine. The tagliolini with Black Pig ragout and the Terra Mia dish are also delicious. The ricotta for starter with honey and chopped pistachios is spectacular, accompanied with various types of local bread. The Mandarin Semifreddo made by the lady is incredible to say the least, truly exceptional. In conclusion, excellent experience, we will be happy to return!

Small restaurant in the middle of the countryside on the slopes of Etna.
The environment is rustic, but pleasant and the food is refined, tasty and locally sourced with strictly local products of unquestionable quality.
The owner's welcome is friendly and empathetic and immediately puts you at ease and takes care of the service together with another unique personal unit.
Here you are! The service is perhaps a tad slow, but it does not penalize the pleasure of the experience and, perhaps, is even positive in inducing people to slow down the too hectic times of everyday city life.
Worth trying and coming back.
