A restaurant where you can truly enjoy excellent food. The excellent quality of the dishes continues to be top-notch, and in my opinion, it remains one of the best restaurants in Saluzzo. Excellent ingredients, exquisite staff, and a very well-curated wine list.

I liked everything, almost everything, and that's why I gave it 4 stars. Obviously, as usual, it's a matter of personal taste and not universally valid. After a tasty sampling of appetizers, excellent fondue-filled plin sprinkled with truffle shavings and capunet with toma cheese... I didn't like the coffee (made with a moka pot, which I liked), it didn't seem to be 100% Arabica, and I didn't like the small sweets that accompanied it, small wafers with walnuts and honey. No big deal, it's worth a visit.

I stopped by this restaurant one evening for dinner at the recommendation of a friend.
The atmosphere is casual yet refined, as are the dishes: traditional dishes, but prepared and plated with taste and care.
The staff is friendly, courteous, and cheerful.
A must-try if you're staying in Saluzzo.

We arrived at lunchtime without a reservation and were greeted very kindly, with great help in choosing as a celiac. We tried Piedmontese dishes that were well presented and well cooked. Friendly atmosphere, nice table setting, pleasant wine selection, good value for money and, last but not least, very convenient parking nearby.

About 10 days ago, I went with a group of friends to dinner at Taverna San Martino in Saluzzo. It's a small restaurant in the city center, seating about 30 people, very bright and welcoming. To avoid confusion, we chose the tasting menu.
Appetizers: Fassone sausage, marinated egg, and hazelnut oil.
Caponata, crispy bacon, and corn crumble.
Tarte Tatin, onions, and Toma cheese fondue.
All were noteworthy, especially the sausage, which was AMAZING!
Fresh spaghetti sautéed in a Sciacca anchovy and cream sauce, garnished with wild garlic gel, was spectacular, but a little heavy to digest; but it was worth it. For the main course, bite-sized Brut and Piedmontese Fassone beef buns cooked at a low temperature with vegetables, Taggiasca olives, oregano, wild fennel, white wine, and a touch of tomato: they melted in your mouth. I never eat dessert after a big dinner, but this time I tried my wife's (panna cotta served on a red fruit coulis and garnished with basil gel) and I have to say it was worth it! All topped off with an excellent dessert served at the perfect temperature. Final verdict? Go there, it's worth the trip, and Saluzzo is also a beautiful town worth visiting.
