Wonderful evening spent celebrating my 50th birthday with friends I had done my research before leaving UK and was not disappointed. Food and service both wonderful.

Fantastic, excellent place. THE DISHES WITH STAR-WINNING COOKING. FRIENDLY SERVICE. I'M SORRY FOR THE DIGNOR MAURIZIO WHO FOUND THE BURNED AUBERGINES AND THE RAW SPAGHETTI...BUT YOU KNOW MSURIZIO YOU'RE BETTER TO DO THE SUB...BON VAIGE... .

This place is a hidden gem. Ask for Enzo to be your server - he is excellent and can recommend the perfect wine to go with whatever you are eating. Most of the place was booked up but they squeezed in our party of two without a reservation. Our food was delicioso - I had anchovy spaghetti and my partner had a lemon risotto. Varied wine selection and excellent desserts. It's a bit off the beaten path but 100% worth the trip. (You may want to make a reservation, though).

Spectacular evening here for my girlfriend’s birthday whilst visiting Naples. Everything was top tier and most importantly authentic as we enjoyed cocktails, Burrata and Pasta Genovese from the specials menu. All topped off with gorgeous desserts and coffee. The service was above and beyond, incredibly friendly and familiar and gave us a real feel for authentic Italian cuisine. Thank you!

Wir sind zufällig hier gelandet, da uns das Personal geholfen hat unser Appartement zu finden. Die Karte hat nicht viele Gerichte, der Kellner hatte uns dann geholfen bei der Übersetzung. Gewählt haben wir die Nudeln mit Muscheln. Wow - unendlich lecker. Das Personal war witzig und zuvorkommend. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Siamo un gruppo di amiche e il giorno 27 aprile abbiamo cenato alla Trattoria dell’Arte, un vero gioiello nel cuore della splendida città di Napoli! Siamo rimaste incantate dall'atmosfera tipica e dall'arredamento accogliente che ci ha subito messe a nostro agio. Il proprietario signor Marcellino, con il suo umorismo gentile e garbato, ha reso l'esperienza ancora più piacevole. Le pietanze erano semplicemente divine, un vero tripudio di sapori tradizionali. Un ringraziamento speciale va al giovane cameriere Franceschino, sempre premuroso e garbato, che ci ha seguito con pazienza e attenzione. Grazie di cuore per aver reso la nostra serata indimenticabile!

Meating Sorrento

28/07/2024: Meating was one of the highlights of our stay in Sorrento. Tucked back on one of Sorrento's oldest streets it had a secluded feel while being just feet (or meters 😂) away from one of the main shopping/tourist streets. Google maps worked beautifully in getting us there with no problems. We made reservations but it was not crowded so you might get away with getting seated without reservations. The atmosphere was old world cozy. The wood fired pizza oven and wine racks occupying the space just inside the doorway added to the ambience. Our server was warm, friendly, and helpful. Our daughters (20 & 22) both had pasta dishes and raced about how good they were. The Gnocchi Sorrento and a pesto pasta dish were excellent. My husband and I splurged and ordered the Tomahawk Steak. Zero regrets! It was HUGE and prepared PERFECTLY. It arrived on a gigantic cutting board and had been sliced and surrounded but several vegetables: carrots, grilled zucchini, eggplant, sauteed broccoli (that must be a different variety of broccoli than what is commonly used into the U.S., more like a spinach, so yummy), roasted sweet potatoes, and more, all delicious. Thankfully the girls helped us eat it all or we would have never been able to finish. Chocolate Souffle and Berry Cheesecake topped it all of! Delicious! Wait staff and owner were so welcoming. We even took turns with the owner showing our dog photos and took selfies with the pizza chef! Highly recommend!!
18/07/2024: The food was delicious. The pizza was fluffy The steak we got was medium rare and it was cooked to our standards. Very friendly staff Christian knew the menu very well and was very helpful and attentive. Highly recommend this place.
