Taverna del Sette In Trevi

Today we ate at the Taverna del 7. The context is magnificent: the old stables of a noble house, surrounded by walls in classic Umbrian stone lit from below and cross-brick ceilings. Impeccable service which includes kindness (everyone greets spontaneously with great cordiality) and good advice to support the choice. Compared to the cuisine, the study and preparation of the dishes are excellent and, respecting traditions, manages to produce surprising results capable of giving emotions to the palate as well as joy to the eyes. I personally was particularly impressed by how a shredded omelette with porcini mushrooms was prepared, as well as by the handmade cappelletti with truffles (scorzone di Norcia). Even the desserts, truly exquisite, prepared with skill, excellent and not heavy. Absolutely worth trying.

It's a shame to only have 5 stars available, I would have given more. The welcome was wonderful, welcomed by a waitress who knows how to do her job great in a very beautiful, clean and well-kept place. They immediately offered us a glass of wine accompanied by a focaccia, very good. We then ordered a beef tartare with rocket, stracciatella and truffle, a stewed onion, a vegetable pie and some gnocchi with Sacrantino reduction and gorgonzola, we then concluded with a dessert, a pear with Sacrantino reduction and Chantilly cream, all of excellent quality, including the bread basket and the wine that accompanied the meal. Last but not least, the bill was more than honest. We really hope to pass through these parts again so we can return. Thank you.

La Taverna del Sette is a place of the heart where it is a pleasure to return every time we find ourselves passing through Trevi. Excellent wine list with a wide and varied choice of local wineries but above all the menu is surprising: first of all the lasagna with vegetables is unforgettable, each with its own distinguishable flavour. Over the years we have tasted the meat (excellent pigeon and livers), various appetizers and side dishes and desserts and have always been satisfied. The staff is attentive, friendly and never intrusive. The entrée and the welcome glass are appreciated and reflect the care they place towards the customer. All this in a wonderful setting in one of the most beautiful alleys of Trevi. Absolutely recommended (also) for the very balanced bill; Sedanino, a local digestive, is also recommended!

All perfect Hard to find a flaw

We were guests of this inn/restaurant today, very tasty typical Umbrian dishes, prepared with excellent ingredients, quality cuisine. Perfect service, professional and kind staff, characteristic and at the same time very elegant environment...what can I say...see you soon!!!!

In the heart of Trevi, in a suggestive setting we had the pleasure of dining in a restaurant with a unique and welcoming atmosphere. The courtesy and professionalism of the staff pampered us throughout the evening. Quality products paired very well and cooked to perfection made the starter, first and second courses a true taste experience. Highly recommended.
