Taverna de' Massari In Norcia

This has always been my favourite restaurant in Norcia, the refined taste, high quality, atmosphere, and service has always given me and my guests good memories. The family owners, have demonstrated a remarkable determination and resilience, as they had to move out from the original restaurant location after 2016's earthquake, and again move two years ago due to issues with the temporary venue. The new location is ok, not what they deserve, but still good to enjoy a meal as a couple, family or when with friends. The food and many classic dishes are still the same, with the addition of nice cuts of selected meats. My recommendation for these with compatible taste, is the "Filetto di manzo with Gorgonzola and black truffle". The meat had a buttery consistency, so tender and juicy, the cream was balanced, you could identify and taste both truffles and gorgonzola in balanced harmony. I hope they will soon be able to get back to the original family venue.

Il locale è ben arredato, siamo rimasti 2 gg a norcia e visto che ci siamo trovati bene la prima sera abbiamo deciso di tornarci anche la sera dopo. Il cibo è ottimo, il personale ospitale e veloce l'ambiente piacevole

We ate lunch yesterday in this tavern, everything was exceptional! Very good selection of local cured meats and cheeses, excellent first courses and very tender meat. Friendly and helpful staff, we stayed with my 7 month old son, they provided us with a high chair without any problems :). Nice and spacious place, large and comfortable bathroom, the only flaw is being able to access the restaurant only via stairs, let's say it was inconvenient to carry the stroller up, otherwise everything was fantastic 🤩

La mia ricerca di ristoranti non sbaglia mai, il locale nuovo non è sicuramente quello nelle foto e lo si può capire. Ci siamo fatti consigliare dai responsabili di sala con vari antipasti, tagliatelle con funghi, gnocchetti con gorgonzola ,e una tagliata con lardo il tutto condito con abbondante tartufo nero..che dire una leccornia. Complimenti allo chef e ai ragazzi di sala con un servizio competente e svelto.
