Tried the classic Carbonara and Cacio e Pepe and both were well prepared, sauce was nice and creamy. Waiters were attentive and friendly, service was fast even on a busy day.

The best pasta! Dining here is a treat for both the palate and the soul. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and multilingual. The portions are generous, and the atmosphere is very cozy. We love coming here :) To guarantee a table, we like to call ahead.

The restaurant's decor is rather simple. Unfortunately, the service wasn't impeccable. The main course was served shortly after the appetizer, even though it was clear the staff hadn't finished the appetizer. This resulted in the main course arriving cold. The staff seemed intent on clearing the table quickly, even while we were still eating. This might be due to the restaurant's popularity with tourists. The food tasted quite good, but the service unfortunately marred the overall experience. Therefore, only 3 out of 5 stars.

FANTASTIC! We ate a lot of good pasta on our trip through Puglia, but this is by far the best! Only open for lunch, but you definitely need to take the time to visit this restaurant. Reservations are recommended. It's easy to call, and you'll be helped in English. The only downside is that the owner thinks Dutch and German are the same thing ;)

Ein sehr zu empfehlendes Restaurant. Wir hatten beide Spaghetti und waren sehr zufrieden. Der Hochgenuss war aber das Dessert und schon deswegen sollte jeder hingehen. Eine gemütliche Atmosphäre und wir haben den Besuch genossen. Im Mai haben wir ein Tisch auch ohne Reservierung erhalten.

02/10/2025: We were here on September 30th to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our 6-year-old daughter, and what can I say... it was a fantastic experience! The place is really cute and welcoming, but what struck us most was the staff: kind, helpful, and super attentive. We felt pampered from start to finish. The meat? Delicious, truly high-quality! The prices are reasonable; in fact, I'd say they're fair for what they offer. We came here thanks to word of mouth from friends, and now I understand why they'd raved so much about it. I recommend it to everyone: if you're looking for a place to eat well and feel at home, this is the place. We'll definitely be back!
29/08/2025: I'll start by saying that this was my first time at this place, which is very spacious and during the week, and I must say it was quite crowded. After all the food I've had, I honestly expected better. The food overall was good; the idea of ​​cooking the meat right at the table is nice, but the appetizers and mixed grill were average; I didn't find anything exceptional. I wouldn't go back if I had to go specifically to try excellent meat; not because it wasn't good, but because I've had better.

28/10/2025: Best roll I had in Italy. Incredibly tasty and well priced. Meat is sliced and thrown on the grill right in front of you so you know it’s fresh! Owner is very friendly and always happy to se you.
23/10/2025: The best butcher shop (Braceria) in Bari Vecchia. It's a butcher shop that prepares fantastic sandwiches (even if "panino" is an understatement) with absolutely unique and fresh products from its own counter. Not just a simple sandwich, but a true experience. Every bite transports you to the flavors of a land rich in flavors, a warm, crispy roll that envelops a cut of meat of your choice: bombette, sausage, zampina, braciola, porchetta, and falda (Il diaframma) and a vegetable filling, including a choice of zucchini, aubergine, or tomatoes in oil. All washed down with a cold Peroni beer (which, remember, is now the last completely Italian brand, which also has a plant in Bari). The scent of the nearby sea, the chatter of the villagers, and the chirping of the seagulls are the soundtrack that will accompany your break. Frequented by locals and workers, it can get a little crowded at midday, but you can't miss out on all this. I ate the diaphragm sandwich, heavenly.
