Very pleasant atmosphere, the staff was super nice and seated us fast and the menu variety is huge. We ordered the tomatoes + mozarella appetizer and they even gave us a free welcome bread with dill sauce, which tasted fresh and the bread was super soft. We came here to try out some real, Italian pasta and it truly exceeded our expectations. All the pasta is homemade and it’s thick and filling, don’t let the portion size betray you because this will for sure make you full😂😂 We ordered the orechiette with meatballs, spaghetti bolognese, spaghetti carbonara and spaghetti tricolore + we also got tiramisu and salame al cioccolato as dessert and it tasted better than ever!! You definitely have to stop by here if you ever come to Monopoli.❤️

We didn’t even have time to take photos of the food—that alone says everything. It disappeared far too quickly, which can only mean one thing: it was absolutely outstanding.
I had the spaghettoni cacio e mix di pepi with added truffle, and it was simply incredible—rich, perfectly balanced, and deeply satisfying. Our kids ordered the orecchiette bolognese, and it was so good that we had to order an extra portion, which they happily shared. My wife chose the spaghettoni aglio e olio alla poveraccia, a seemingly simple dish that was executed to perfection.
It’s honestly hard to say which dish was the best—everything was exceptional. To top it all off, we treated ourselves to tiramisu for dessert—and then had to order another one! Even though it was already 9 minutes past closing time, they brought it without any hesitation, which really speaks volumes about their hospitality.
After traveling all across the Puglia region, this was by far the most delicious restaurant we visited. A well-deserved 5 stars!

We had a very good lunch, pasta carbonara and ravioli with truffles and 4 types of cheese and tiramisu. The ravioli was extraordinarily good. The tiramisu was a real tiramisu. Reservations are recommended, otherwise you can wait up to 30 minutes for a table to be released.

A wonderful restaurant that you don't just visit, but remember. We had lunch here today and were absolutely delighted. We had spaghettoni Bolognese, spaghettoni carbonara, two mixed salads, accompanied by wine, a delicious tiramisu, and two espressos—every single dish was prepared with care and tasted superb.
The soul of a true family business is particularly palpable here: father, mother, and son run this establishment with warmth, attentiveness, and visible passion. You feel welcome and exceptionally well cared for from the very first moment.
Everything was spotlessly clean, the atmosphere pleasant and relaxed, and the service attentive without being intrusive. This is what genuine Italian hospitality tastes like.
Anyone who wants to eat truly exceptional food in Monopoli shouldn't miss this restaurant. For us, it was a culinary highlight. We will definitely be back.

A huge thank you from my wife and me for this amazing pasta experience!
We just wanted a quick lunch and, based on the reviews, chose this small but very inviting and beautifully decorated restaurant. The staff is friendly and very attentive. We ordered a small appetizer and a pasta dish each. It was simply fantastic! Since then, we've measured every pasta dish against this one and haven't been this impressed by any other pasta in Italy (we traveled all across the country).
Update August 2024: In 2023, we resolved to return in 2024, and we'll definitely be back next year.
The pasta is still incredibly delicious. See you next year!
And another update from October 2025:
Once again, we were looking forward to the pasta; it was our first stop after landing, and once again, it was outstanding.
Our travel plans for 2026 are already set, and we'll be back in May!

From the moment you walk in, you can feel the incredible, authentic Italian atmosphere. The service is top-notch – warm, smiling, and incredibly hospitable. A huge shout-out to the owners: Tonio and his son are wonderful! They create such a warm, family atmosphere that you immediately feel like you're visiting friends. The food is pure poetry! Perfectly prepared pasta, eggplant, and incredible desserts will linger in your memory for a long time. It was so delicious, we went back two days in a row! If you're in Puglia, this is a must-see.
