Sophisticated location. Cozy and welcoming atmosphere suitable for groups and couples. The courtyard where you eat in summer is very suggestive. The staff is friendly and discreet. The menu presents a seasonal offer with light and vegan options but also preserves the typical dishes of the Milanese tradition. We tried the veal with mustard as an appetizer. Then as first courses the Risotto alla Milanese. Sardinian gnocchi with broad beans and bacon. Gnocchi with borage. As a second course, Milanese cutlet with buttered potatoes. We visited Sophia's for lunch, the atmosphere was nice and relaxed,created by attentive staff members. Menu is composed from three choices of appetisers, two first plates and two second plates, one might find it difficult to choose between such a few dishes but, on the other hand, if you did your homework and checked their web site - the menu is there and you knew it beforehand. However, in the website it was also mentioned that during summer months the restaurant moves to the "outdoor" area, which is very beautiful and I'd have loved to sit there, but we were advised that it's not available for lunch. All in all, a pleasant experience, good price and quality ratio.

Lovely restaurant in Milan, lots of gluten free options and they even had gluten free focaccia! I had the beef fillet and it was good!

5 stars! Really very much recommended. First when you enter, the dining hall is very pleasant, great design interior with organically shaped tables and placemats, nice decorations. I was welcomed with a surprise welcoming Prosecco (a good one) and a small bite. They have vegetarian dishes and I went for the asparagus ravioli - a real delight. The tiramisu was also good although they should have stick with the traditional Savoyard biscuits (or replace the crunchy topics with dark chocolate).
I should forgot to thank and compliment the very friendly, helpful and fast service!
