Endless waiting, overwhelmed servers, decent pizza. For me very average.

The absolute best pizza I’ve eaten in Sicily. Sicily Pizzeria was recommended to us by a local, it was the only pizza place he recommended in Ortigia, not because the rest are bad, but because he knows this business and they make great pizza. I had to stop the owner to ask about the crust because I’m obsessed with flour used in pizza dough. I’m not a big fan of all-white flour crusts. They use exceptionally high quality flours in a slow fermentation process and you can taste it! After our conversation it was clear that attention to quality is the drive behind this pizzeria, more of a mission than a business. I ordered the seasonal pumpkin pizza with fresh sausage and the delicious fiordilatte mozzarella. It was divine. My husband ordered the Vicenza which he also loved. We took a Margherita home for our girls and they devoured it. The entire staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was cozy and sophisticated and fun, but with a touch of nostalgic charm. We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful evening! The waiter was nice, quick, attentive and funny and the pizza was excellent! Really good ingredients are used and you can tell with every bite! It's a shame it was our last evening here, otherwise we would definitely come back tomorrow :)

Sicily #15, Ortigia #4, Italian #7, Pizza #2: excellent pizza and wine here. Had such better food and was a much better experience than the pizza we had in Catania. We ordered: the rosso della casa in bottiglia €20, An.ge.la €14 (bufala, salame picante, peperoncino), Immacolata €8,5 (melanzane, ricotta), Mimì €12 (pizza fritta, pecorino, acciughe). I loved everything we ordered but the An.ge.la may have been my favorite. Strongly reccommend ordering at least one pizza fritta. Vibe was solid, service was solid, and everything was pleasant. I guess my only edit would be if they could be open for lunch. Would happily return for more pizza and wine :)

Siamo arrivati di sera ad un orario spropositato, intorno alle 23:00, e ci hanno accolto gentilmente comunque. Abbiamo mangiato ottime pizze, cotte in maniera eccellente e per nulla pesanti da digerire. Lo consiglio a chiunque passi per Siracusa

Abbiamo cenato in questo locale a pochi passi dalla piazza del Duomo. Abbiamo ordinato due pizze semplici ma molto buone, una bufala ed angela (con pomodorino e piccante). L'aspetto delle varie portate, che abbiamo anche visto su altri tavoli, erano davvero invitanti. Le pizze sono state sopra le aspettative, davvero gustose e stile napoletano contemporaneo. I ragazzi che ci hanno servito sono stati molto cordiali e disponibili, si meritano tutti e 5 i punti.
