An incredibly delicious place to eat and enjoy. The host was so friendly and helpful, and so were the staff. The dishes are high quality, very pure yet flavorful. We chose the suggestions and then had the salciccio, the pasta with saffron and zucchini, and the steak, respectively. Perhaps a bit more expensive for the region, but absolutely worth the money! Highly recommended!

A delightful and quaint family-run restaurant carved into a rock 🪨 (in the summer, they don't use the air conditioning inside!). The motto is everything homemade 🏠 from the bread (sourdough) to the pasta to the desserts, etc. The place is well-kept and clean, the highlight being the bathroom, which feels like a spa... the music choice is spot-on (the great and unique Lucio Dalla). If you're in the area, I recommend stopping by.

We stopped in Melezzole during the Silent Villages walk, we had dinner in this restaurant and it was a great experience: very kind staff, excellent food, mostly local and homemade… highly recommended!

Lovely place, attentive and very polite staff. Love for their work and you can feel it all. Excellent food. Pleasantly surprised. We felt really good! Taste and pleasant atmosphere!

08/08/2025: We have been dining at Rossi’s for years. Our love-hate relationship is borne from the unpredictable service you receive from the two-owner brothers who have been running the establishment for years. Surly and rather disengaging. Not characteristics commensurate with front of house behavior. In spite of themselves, the Tratoria has prospered and grown over the years and I attribute this to the quality of the food. Typical Umbrian, simple and therefore always delicious. Testament to this is that most diners are local and regulars! How much more of a regular we would be if the two brothers attended a Dale Carnegie course on how to Win Friends and Influence people! Hell, I would even pay for it!
02/08/2025: We dined here based on the positive reviews... The staff was sparse, not in number but in terms of the number of qualified staff... The menu lacked any description of the ingredients in the dish. The ordering, service, and payment times were incredibly long...

24/07/2025: We had dinner at this gluten-free restaurant. The ombricelli were excellent, both cacio e pepe and Orvietana. The wine was good and the dessert was mouth-watering. Cecilia was very kind.
21/07/2025: I've been wanting to eat at this place for a long time, and it's always made a good impression on me, inviting me in not only with its welcoming appearance but also with the aromas of authentic cooking, wafting in from the street. A few days ago, my daughters and I had the chance to compare our impressions with the real thing. What can I say, guys! We ate wonderfully! The cuisine is prepared by real Umbrian women who, beyond traditional dishes, offer innovations that deserve special attention. All the dishes are thoroughly explained by one of the owners, Cecilia. She takes the time to explain each individual dish, highlighting their quality and provenance from various parts of Umbria. What can I say... well done, well done, well done! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well and healthily. I can't wait to try their other offerings!
