We had dinner along the Silent Villages Trail in Melezzole, and it was a wonderful experience. The cuisine features local, seasonal products. Great attention is paid to the preparation of the dishes and to the guests. It's worth a stop. Highly recommended!

I've dined at this restaurant several times, and each time it's proven to be an excellent choice, both for the quality of the food and the excellent service.
I recommend the supplì with chestnuts and pecorino cheese, a true autumnal treat!
The pizza is delicious and light, leaving plenty of room for dessert, the impeccable chestnut mousse!!
See you soon!

Semiramide has become a go-to place for us. The pizza (strictly made with sourdough) is excellent. The grilled meat is authentic, and the pasta dishes are fresh and handmade to order. The dessert is a treat that doesn't weigh you down but is a perfect end to the meal. The place is intimate, cozy, and attentive, as is the service.

Excellent dishes using local ingredients. I had crostini with guanciale and saliva, chickpea and chestnut soup, and pork and chestnut stew. All very good.

The food is good, authentic, excellent value, with attentive and discreet service, and a well-kept and clean environment 👏👏...
Compliments to this restaurant, which we discovered thanks to the legendary Melezzole Chestnut Festival held every year around this time.
Our experience:
On a random Sunday in October, we set out from Perugia, about a 50-minute drive away.
We wanted to take a short trip without getting too tired, but with the intention of feeling a bit like we were on vacation, exploring the characteristic villages of Umbria and enjoying good, traditional local cuisine. 😋
The first village we encountered after a steep climb was Acqualoreto, small but delightful. At this point, you find yourself on a plateau... you feel like you've been catapulted back in time!!! ↩️🔙... Just like in the past, from here you can only see historic villages, about 5-7 kilometers apart, and all around them, only landscapes of chestnut and oak forests with a suggestive panorama 😮😍😍... Continuing, we left Morre and Morruzze behind until we reached Melezzole, where the Semiramide restaurant is located. But remember, once you've finished eating, you absolutely must continue your tour until you also visit Toscolano and Santa Restituita 😍😍😍.
P.S. Sorry for the long description, but these areas are truly unmissable for anyone who wants to discover our beloved Umbria.
