First, reservations are highly recommended, and they are easy to make online. The room was very comfortable, with well-spaced tables, simple but attractive decor, and a low noise level. We started with two glasses of prosecco while we looked at the menu. Our first course was a green salad for two. It contained fresh greens, crisp carrots, and flavorful tomatoes. It is Modena, so we had to have tortellini. We shared the ricotta and spinach tortellini in a butter and sage sauce. They split it for us in the kitchen and the portion was perfect for two people. For entrees we selected Pistachio Encrusted Tuna, and the Fried Seafood Plate which contained calamari, two types of shrimp, and langustino. The seafood was only lightly dusted with flour before frying so it was not heavy or oily. We enjoyed both very much. We liked the artful plate presentations. Our server was attentive and engaging, and we felt the dinner was well paced even though they were busy. We never felt rushed. The complimentary house made liquor at the end of the meal was a nice touch. We felt the evening was a great value. The entrees were priced in the mid twenty euro range. The pasta was fifteen. We found a very good Vermentino for only 28€ on their wine list. The Coperto was 3€ each, but the excellent bread made it seem appropriate. Our entire dinner was only 125€, which is a great deal for this level of service and the quality of the food.

Optimal. Called by chance I had never been there. Wonderful dinner with my wife. We had everything based on fish. All fresh and very good. Compliments to the Chef. All the waiters are very good. Luckily we had dinner outdoors with a bit of air which made our evening even more pleasant. Well done👏👏

I recently went to the Selmi restaurant in Modena. The dishes are really good and the fish is of excellent quality. However, the service disappointed me deeply. I ordered a plate of paccheri with lobster and found three meat tortellini on the plate. I mentioned this to the staff, but I was not asked if I wanted to change the dish. At the time of the bill, I was not offered a discount or a coffee as a gesture of courtesy, but only a cold "Did you eat it?". I think restaurants of this type should pay attention to similar situations, to improve the customer experience.

Good cuisine, although not generous. Rather pleasant welcome, pleasant service but a little long. High prices for the service.
