A wonderful experience with food, service, and a truly above-average atmosphere. Fresh and perfectly cooked fish. Excellent wine selection. Not cheap, but adequate for the quality of the food.

Very good food. 3 people and everything on point. Squids with carbonara sauce - AS A DISH OF THE DAY TOP OF THE TOP. Breaded chicken very good and a really big portion. Tuna tartare also good. I highly recommend.

Always top! Always very fresh fish, few dishes cooked really well, owner and staff very kind, good! With great regret I RETURNED AFTER TWO YEARS AND THINGS HAVE GOTTEN WORSE. THE QUALITY HAS GONE DOWN. I'm sorry but I won't go back again.

Very nice place, attentive, kind, and always smiling staff! The octopus with crispy potatoes as an appetizer and the Gran Gratinato were very good! I highly recommend it!

We were in a coffee roastery in the evening we went here to eat. In my opinion this is the best wine for fish that I have photographed and the food is top notch. I can only recommend it to everyone, you will not be disappointed.

Siamo tornati presso Selmi22 dopo alcuni anni quando vivevamo a Modena. Il locale si trova in pieno centro vicino a Piazza Grande. Ci siamo trovati molto bene sia come atmosfera che per il cibo. Il personale è sempre molto gentile. Abbiamo gustato antipasto Selmi cotto, Trancio di branzino, Fritto di calamari e gamberi ed infine un sorbetto e fragole. il prezzo, incluso calice di vino su €65 a testa. Tempi di attesa nella norma. Un solo consiglio per migliorare il servizio: il vino una volta aperto andrebbe fatto assaggiare all'ospite prima di essere versato come calice.

An excellent seafood restaurant in Modena. Refined atmosphere. We were satisfied returning after years of living in Modena. Just one piece of advice: the wine should be offered to customers for tasting before being poured

Ristorante Il Ritrovo Sestola

24/08/2025: I've been coming to this restaurant in Sestola for years, and I can say with certainty that they've never messed up a dish. I've tried absolutely everything: from classics like rosette, tortellini, tortelloni, tagliatelle al ragù, to polenta with its sauces, to burgers with crispy fries and desserts... simply amazing! The cuisine is always meticulously prepared, tasty, and consistent over time—quality is never a given. Special praise to this year's wait staff, who were the best of all the seasons we've been here (and in previous years they were equally excellent!). Kind, attentive, smiling, and fast, they made the experience even more enjoyable. A place I always gladly return to... and I will return again!
