Everything was excellent and the staff was very friendly!

Dinner for two, very nice place, furnished in an original way consistent with the ethnic cuisine offered. The menu is rather limited, like all Ethiopian/Eritrean restaurants, in fact there are a few choices of appetizers and only one main course, the typical "zighini" (choice of meat, veg, or fish on prior order). We opted for a few appetizers and both for the meat zighini, which in any case includes, in addition to the beef, "side dishes" of vegetables and legumes, therefore very complete (injera at will included in the cover charge). I liked it all a lot, strong flavors but not very spicy (I appreciate spicy food so I asked for the "extra" sauce), my wife on the other hand liked it less as she is not a fan of strong and spicy flavors... Dinner closed with a good dessert based on mango and yogurt, very fresh and excellent for "resetting" the palate after a very tasty dinner and a spiced tea kindly offered by the house. In the end the bill is more than adequate for how much and how you eat. Very kind and friendly owner. Definitely recommended for those who like strong flavors.

Had dinner with a colleague of mine, curious to try a new cuisine and above all to live the experience of eating with your hands. The restaurant is typical and intimate, with very friendly staff. A plus for the presence of the vegan menu, taken by my colleague. The menus are good but there is little choice.

Ethnic restaurant of Eritrean cuisine. Few traditional dishes but of quality. Nice to share this delicious dish among the various diners. The manager is very helpful and friendly, I must admit that his person always encourages me to return. The environment is really well-kept and characteristic. These are the real ethnic restaurants where you can try, eat and understand the culinary culture of the various countries. Congratulations!

My boyfriend and I had dinner at Eritrean Saturday dinner. Delicious food and, like other places, you eat with your hands. It was a great experience, very kind staff and nice place. We will definitely be back. Ps: just came back and everything is still perfect!

I was passing through Milan for work and I chose to go to this place for dinner. An experience to be repeated! Typical pleasant atmosphere, incredible food and great courtesy. Highly recommended!

Adoro la cucina eritrea, frequento il Savana dalla sua apertura, secondo il mio parere è il migliore di Milano come qualità e varietà del piatto. Anche mio figlio lo adora, prende lo zighini per bambini non piccante..dice che la sua carne è speciale 🤤😁

E' stata la nostra prima esperienza in un ristorante eritreo e che dire? Eccezionale!! cibo buonissimo e decisamente sopra le aspettative, locale con atmosfera molto accogliente e il personale super disponibile e cortese!! ci hanno accolto con tanta simpatia!! consiglio vivamente e sicuramente ci tornerò!!
