San Martino In Parma

First of all, I live in the area, and this is my go-to place for takeout pizza. Their pizza shape is different from the classic pizza we all imagine; they offer a much thinner and crispier version. If you don't like it, you can still order the "double dough" version for an additional €1, which is the same as a regular pizza. I've also eaten at the restaurant a few times, and I've also had the traditional hot mixed seafood platter and the peppered mussels... They're delicious; you can tell they're fresh, and the portions are generous. The prices are fair; I personally really like their pizza; it's always very light. The atmosphere is very nice, with both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for both summer and winter. The only downside is the service: it's very slow, and even on weekdays, when it's quieter, it can take a long time to get a waiter's attention.

Whether it's an evening with friends or a family dinner, San Martino welcomes you as only a family can. Highly recommended, wholeheartedly. The best pizza in Parma (and province). Excellent cuisine. You can feel the courtesy, the experience of years in the sector and great professionalism. Well done!

Everything was excellent: fish, pizza, and wine. I had a seafood appetizer, a sausage and broccoli rabe pizza, and a Lunae Vermentino. The only flaw was that the pizza wasn't exactly what was described on the menu. I mean, I chose number 81. I was asked to describe it, and I did so briefly, thinking it was just to identify it. However, it was served with only the ingredients I listed, so it wasn't the same as the one I was supposed to eat. It was supposed to be plain, with pecorino cheese. Instead, it had mozzarella and tomato. I'll be more careful next time.

Ristorante Pizzeria & Enoteca San Martino is about a 15-min walk from Parma’s historic center. The restaurant was recommended to us by a local foodie for both its seafood dishes and classic Neapolitan-style pizza, and it did not disappoint. The menu features a wide variety of options, with an impressive selection of fresh seafood and pizzas. All menu options list common dietary allergens, which is very nice. The food quality was consistently excellent, and nicely presented. The warm octopus with potatoes appetizer was exceptional, one of the best presentations of octopus I've had. We visited on a Thursday evening, and by 8:30pm, the restaurant was pretty full—mostly with locals from what I could tell, which is always a good sign. Service was good. There is a covered outdoor patio with fans and an indoor air conditioned seating area.

Locale ampio e moderno con varietale private. Pulito con personale qualificato e cordiale. Menù di carne e pesce con materie prime di qualità. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono.

Si tratta di un locale che opera da parecchi anni e che è quindi molto conosciuto. Alla originaria attività di pizzeria si aggiunge anche la possibilità di pranzare, come si evince dal titolo, come al ristorante. Alle sale interne si sono aggiunti due pratici dehors, così da ampliare la ricettività del locale. Tutti i tavoli sono bene apparecchiati con tovaglie di stoffa e sono distanziati tra loro nelle giusta misura. Il servizio è veramente efficiente e bene coordinato dai titolari, malgrado il notevole numero di commensali che abitualmente si trovano. Notevoli le varietà di pizze tra cui scegliere e buona scelta anche nel menù “ ristorante” con prevalenza di piatti di pesce. Ottima la possibilità di selezionare sia vini che birre. Sia le pizze che i piatti di pesce assaggiati erano buoni e con materie prime fresche. In ordine i servizi igienici. Discrete possibilità di parcheggio nelle vicinanze. Prezzi in linea con quelli degli analoghi locali cittadini.
