San Lorenzo Osteria Bistrot In Milano

I was here for a painting session (hosted by a 3rd party) and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. They made sure we were comfortable and well fed throughout. I had a small charcuterie plate with a crisp prosecco- here ‚small‘ means 2 cheeses, 3 meats, and an entire load of bread. Highly recommend for an after work snack or a longer dinner!

Steak was ok, risotto with veal is great.

We dined at San Lorenzo Osteria Bistrot and overall had a very pleasant experience. We tried the lasagna with ragù and beef, a well-prepared dish with rich, balanced flavors, cooked just right without being heavy. We also ordered a mixed meat platter, with all the meats well grilled, juicy, and carefully prepared. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service truly stood out. Frank, who served us, was excellent: professional, friendly, and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable without being intrusive. A great spot for quality, relaxed dining, whether for dinner or a special night out!!

I visited this Milanese restaurant a couple of weeks ago with my girlfriend. The place is very nice, albeit rather dark: it's definitely a great place for a romantic evening, but obviously it depends on your taste. The service is excellent, attentive, and professional; there's nothing to complain about. Regarding the food, however, I was slightly disappointed, especially considering the price: I expected a little more to make a real impression, having chosen the restaurant personally for my girlfriend. The tagliatelle seemed a bit bland, while the Milanese cutlet was the sore point: overcooked and rather tough, it ruined the aesthetics and enjoyment of the dish. The Milanese risotto with ossobuco was good overall; however, I admit that, as a great fan of grated cheese, I perhaps overdid it, masking some of the original flavor. Otherwise, everything else was okay, but the focus on quality and execution could be improved, especially considering the restaurant's location. The wine selection deserves special mention, as it's truly extensive and excellent: a true highlight for lovers of fine wine.

Excellent service; they even made us lasagna on a day it wasn't on the menu. Fantastic service. We'll definitely be back.

Decent food, but really could be better. Pros: 1. Milanese Risotto and veal was really well done, with an ending of bone marrow at the end. Being one of our first Milanese risotto on the trip, we found it really delicious. Also, photos on menu showed 2 portions of veal, be prepared for only 1 to arrive. 2. Octopus and hummus had great flavour but was overcooked so it became really tough to bite. 3. Had a kind waiter. Cons: 1. Probably one of the stalest bread I’ve ever eaten (cold as well). 2. The pesto pasta was so simple but still was prepared badly. The flavour of the pesto was not strong. And I definitely did not enjoy biting hardly into multiple cracked pieces of pistachio shells.

Very good food accompanied by impeccable service.

Hi, I went to the place for a coffee and asked to use the restroom, but I was denied. You can only use the restroom if you're consuming at the table, and the manager replied: "The restroom is for customers." Terrible. I won't even go for a glass of water. Never again.
