We entered at 5:05 PM and asked if we could sit down. With a warm smile, the man at the register replied, "Wherever you want." From 5:15 PM, we started waving at the waiter, even shouting, "Excuse me!" out loud, but he pretended not to see us and walked away. At 5:40 PM, no waiter had shown up, so I went to the bartender to complain. The bartender replied, "What are you having?", prepared our orders, and shortly thereafter personally came to bring them to us. At the buffet, I asked for two extra slices of salami, but was denied, saying I could choose something else but couldn't give me more salami (he'd given me enough), so I ate at the buffet, which consisted mostly of vegetables and carbohydrates. However, I'm not giving the low rating for the salami issue, which is annoying but not serious. I am giving it instead for the waiter's behavior. I would like to thank the bartender again, without whom I would have given even fewer stars, but he was good... and it wasn't his job!

I had a sandwich during my lunch break... Neither praise nor infamy. It's a shame about the almost 30-minute wait. A vintage Milanese bar that oozes history.

We had a delicious break at the tables outside, which were lovely under the warm electric lamps. The waiter was very friendly and quick. The tiramisu was excellent, with a twist on chocolate shavings.

The food is good, both as an aperitif and by ordering separately. The drinks are also very good. The place is very nice inside. The bathrooms, to be honest, aren't very clean. However, the thing that really bothered me the last time I went with a friend was the terrible service. We arrive at 4:45 PM. We sit outside, order, and the drinks arrive. After half an hour, we try to catch the eye of the young, blonde waitress or her foreign colleague. They almost seem to ignore us. Meanwhile, a large group of young men and women, about 10, arrives next to us. Obviously, in order to be able to all sit, they ask if the second table next to ours is free. When it is, they move it to add it to the two they had already occupied. In a flash, the two aforementioned waiters rushed out, and between complaints and "it can't be done" statements and a rush back and forth to be told what they needed to do to accommodate the group left standing, they themselves created chaos. "This chair here—actually, no, because it's too close to the sidewalk—squeeze in like this. The extra table has to go back to its place (i.e., next to mine). The owner told us it can't be done." Well... They said and did so much that in the end, those guys left after half an hour of standing. And honestly, they were right. Absurd. My friend and I, who had been trying to order a second drink and some food for an hour, were told about five times, "Just a minute," "I'm coming," "One more," etc. They were setting up chairs, emptying ashtrays, and no one even noticed us waiting. Until... At 6 PM... We got tired, and when the guy from before finally approached and asked, "Do you want to order anything else?" the only obvious answer was, "No, thanks." By the way: we didn't go home. We paid, got up, and went to another place in the area, where we had already ordered within five minutes, and within ten minutes, we were not only drinking but also eating a huge platter full of delicious things that were included in the price of the aperitif and arrived IMMEDIATELY. I want to clarify that I don't normally leave negative reviews, and if we had both wanted to be "mean," we would have complained immediately at the cashier. But we preferred to leave and continue our afternoon elsewhere. I understand. Being young and also that mistakes are foreseeable, but... When there isn't even a huge crowd... Not knowing how to manage a group of young people who need a little space and chairs all close together (visibly getting confused) and in the meantime completely ignoring repeated requests to order... It's not "inexperience" or "youth." It's not knowing how to do that job well and causing the place where you work to lose several drinks in less than an hour. Will I return? Who knows. For sure, if I were to and I were to recognize one of the two waiters, I'd get up and order or take my order, alone, at the counter... Just to be sure I can consume.
