Rosso Magenta In Milano

The food is great, very good quality, the the variety of the sandwiches is huge and very tasty. The coffee is also very very good.

Nice spot. Been there for years. Need to work on their efficiency. Slow to bring the drinks. Fries came cold even though they were not busy. But a good spot to enjoy a drink.

Gems like this should be protected as Italian (Milanese in this case) "cultural-culinary heritage." I hadn't been to Milan for a few years, and when I saw Bar Magenta in films for which it sometimes served as a setting (like Celentano's "Ace"), I was filled with nostalgia and curiosity. Returning to Milan for 10 days in early May for personal reasons, I frequented it often and found the management to be respectful, dynamic, knowledgeable, and well-coordinated, meeting customer expectations while remaining firmly rooted in the history of the place and Milanese tradition. Prices were almost "below the threshold" compared to the city average, while the quality was high, indeed, very high. A special mention to the girl waiting on tables and the woman who ran the place three Sundays ago (a very unusual name that I've forgotten), who also offered us coffee. Well done...see you soon. Super packed during Milan Design week

A cult bar in Art Nouveau style with very tasty panini at fair prices and not as crowded as the trendy café next door…

Nothing special, but a fine bar to grab a drink at. Reasonable prices and not touristy. Service was especially slow.

A historic Milanese establishment that's been around for decades. Good sandwiches and excellent beers... Only negative: the ticket machine is occasionally out of order. (It's okay if it's a technical issue, but let us know in advance and we'll adjust accordingly.)

Not even a single potato chip with the crodino!... I should give it 2 stars...
