San Cristoforo In Amelia

Last weekend (7/8 December), taking advantage of a Smartbox package that had been given to us as a gift, my husband and I stayed at Marco and Andrea's farmhouse. The place is very nice and suggestive, immersed in the Umbrian countryside. The room and bathroom were very spacious, we had the room called the granary. It's a shame that there was no bidet in the bathroom, however the shower was very large. The radiators, present in both rooms, heated well. On the evening of arrival, Saturday 7th, we ate at the farmhouse restaurant: for meat lovers, an experience worth trying! The breakfast the following day was very rich: croissants, tarts, various types of cakes, yogurt, fruit juices and hot drinks that you could ask for at the moment. Not to be underestimated is the friendliness of the mascot Spank, known as Spanky, a lovable little dog who wanders around the farmhouse cheering up guests with his affability! Experience to repeat!

We came with a Smartbox package and it was a great choice. The place is located in the countryside and the farmhouse is really beautiful and evocative. The best thing was dinner at the farmhouse restaurant; the dishes were of a high standard and the service excellent. We found a fair quality/price ratio. Same the following morning with breakfast, plentiful and with homemade desserts. The rooms overall are typical and welcoming, certainly very very spacious! A stay to be recommended and certainly a place to return to in the summer to also enjoy the swimming pool!

Abbiamo cenato nella splendida cornice che offrono le colline umbre, ci siamo trovati benissimo, tanto che,prima della fine della nostra vacanza, ci siamo tornati. Ottimi piatti, materie prime di livello, salumi, mozzarella e “ciccia” speciali. Nota di merito al servizio, cortesi, competenti e carini

Piccolo agriturismo nelle colline Umbre. Bhe che dire... Si mangia bene, sono cortesi, giovani, simpatici e sempre pronti ad ogni richiesta. L'unica pecca è non aver prenotato per tempo anche la piscina che ha posti limitati. Il consiglio è che se siete in zona dovete assolutamente prenotare, ne vale proprio la pena. Tutto eccellente dall'antipasto di salumi e formaggi al dolce. Per quanto ci riguarda torneremo sicuramente per un pranzo e un bagno in piscina. Grazie ragazzi.

Perfect restaurant, rooms to be reviewed. We arrived with a Smartbox reservation: the expected welcome aperitif did not take place unless upon our explicit request. The room was an attic which was very hot with this summer's temperatures. Only one fan available. Presence of wasps in the room. The biggest flaw is the bathroom: very small and with a non-existent shower which caused the bathroom to flood as it is not delimited; broken shower head that fell while washing. Rooms to absolutely review. Furthermore, there is a very strong smell of stables and manure. Swimming pool ok. Restaurant and dinner/breakfast service all perfect, friendly waiters also available for food intolerances.

Beautiful structure immersed in the Umbrian countryside with a wonderful view, exquisite food and kindness from all the staff, we will definitely return, if I had to suggest something I would suggest air conditioning the rooms having stayed in the middle of July.

I liked it very much.. I ended up in a room where, despite the sun beating down in the morning, I didn't suffer from the heat. The managers were very good and kind... thanks to Andrea from the restaurant... I'll be back

I found this place randomly on the internet in the hope that it would accept the smartbox coupon. Marco was immediately very friendly and nice and accepted our requests! We arrived....a very nice place full of youth which is usually a good sign, impeccable swimming pool and service and there it was love...Andrea managed to amaze me with his kindness and with a plate of very hot fried potatoes to satisfy the my desires as a good pregnant nuisance! Dinner recommended by Andrea... Fresh meat and vegetables from the garden a stone's throw from us.... ideal temperature, beautiful atmosphere.... what to add... we will definitely be back. I recommend it very much Thanks Marco and Andrea. Rating 10❤️
